Hi I’m a useless lesbian. See I’m not even a lesbian, so I failed at that too.

C1 is a witch, living in a time period where witches are prohibited. They live alone, in the deep dark woods. C1 was taken in by the demon king/queen, who had taken pity on them when they were dying as a child.
C1 is lonely, their only companions, the animals that inhabit the forest.
That is until one day, C2 is found by the witch in a river.
They stay comatose for a year, and C1 finds themselves fabricating a life with C2. Using magic to keep them alive.
One day C2 finally awakens, but with no memory of who they were. C1 nurses them back to health, and a relationship forms.
C1 however is caught in the moral dilemma, of allowing C2 to remember, or to keep them forever.

C1 is enamoured with the young ( man)/( women) and saves them. C2 is initially scared of C1, who hides their possessive nature beneath a facade of wanting c2 to recover. C2 finds themselves falling hard for c1.
However C2 is engaged to an important person within their kingdom, and if hey stay with c1, there could be dire consequences.
Will the lovers be forced to part?

Questions :
What’s with the title?
Answer: well, it sounds pretty ominous, but also that crows are often associated with witchcraft.
What pairing type is this?
Answer: in my head I wrote it open, so I have no bias towards one pairing or the other.
So MxM, fxf and even MxF.
Do you have a character / plot preference?
Answer: not this time :)
I’m interested in this plot but you’re already doing this / I want to do it with someone else
Answer: for the first one, just let me know and I’ll do it with you in another thread.
For the second one, just either ask me or make a thread, as long as you credit me and link back here we’re good.

I’d prefer that my partner writes in third person rather Han first, as it’s easier for me to follow.
For example.
“ C1 looked around , their vision blurred by the tears, the situation was so funny they couldn’t stop themselves from laughing ”
Rather than
“ I looked around, my vision blurred by my tears, the situation was so funny I couldn’t stop myself from laughing”
I’d also prefer if my partner could type more than one sentence.
Now you don’t need to have consistent paragraphs, because that’s not super fair to ask of someone, when I know I wouldn’t be able to do that either.
Something like this is perfectly fine:
“ it was dark when he got off from work, so the streets were almost empty, if not for the few night owls out and about. The city would have been quiet if not for the noise from the nightclub.”
So really a minimum of two sentences please, I understand the occasional one sentence post so that’s fine.
