It seemed that among the supernatural guests the reaper hadn’t been the only one who’d come for human flesh. The imp moved to grab Ciel from behind. However the petite male had him slammed against the bar table in the blink of an eye.
He had once been a police officer before his wife hadn’t convinced him to retire. -
Lucifer followed the boy to the bar, he watched as the person approached Ciel and was about to intervein when he saw the man slammed against the bar. He chuckled softly and walked up and sat beside Ciel, "Tough little kitten you are." He said with a chuckle. He nodded to the bartender, "Strongest thing you've got." The bartender nodded and after a bit, something landed in front of him and he took a swig then looked over at him.
-
Ciel hummed. “ I used to be part of the force...but Lila insisted I retired.” He said. It was obvious that Ciel had just agreed to it to appease his late wife. “ I’d like a whit- no actually I’ll have whiskey please.” He said as he paid for his drink..before downing it. She hated when he drunk anything stronger than a half glass of white whine. Even then she’d get grouchy,
“...so how exactly did you know Lila again?” He asked now feeling a bit grumpy.
“ if it’s from an affair, she wasn’t as good at hiding them as she thought.” He said bitterly -
Luci chuckled, "Work." He stated again, "Its a horrible thing really but I live for it." He was intrigued slightly by this human, how he had gotten so grumpy with his wife even though he was just mourning her but could have been a part of it as well as the alcohol. So overall interesting but also not. "Besides she's very far from my type, so no. No affair."
-
Ciel calmed himself. “ sorry. Without her here to whisper in my ear about what I should and shouldn’t do, I don’t feel the need to lie to myself anymore.” He said with a careless shrug. “ to be honest. Lila isn’t even half of what I talked her up to be.” He snorted. “ she was manipulative and controlling. But she was my wife.
-
Luci was curious as to what counted at manipulating to this human, he was sure that it would be simple compared to the wild things that happened in his household. "You shouldn't need someone to tell you what to do. And the interesting thing about free will is that no one is controlling of you don't let them be. Though odd behavior for a wife. Why marry if you seem to dislike her?" He asks and raised an eyebrow.
-
Ciel shrugged, “ dunno myself, the thing is, my whole life I liked men, then suddenly I was all over her.” He shrugged. “ I don’t like being told what to do, so I really find it weird how I’ve been acting in the last five years,”
-
Luci blinked a few times and moved to sit up straight, slowly. He stared blankly for a minute and decided not to say something. What he was describing sounded like she tried to push influence over his mind or something like it, which was against the rules, quite illegal actually. But who was he to judge in all honesty. He was intrigued by this human now, what would have compelled her to do such a thing. Now he wanted to find out. He supposed the human's death could wait... For now
-
“ even times when I wanted to leave, something in my head kept instructing me to stay with her.” He sighed. “ she lied about being pregnant a couple of times, which honestly I shouldn’t have fallen for, with how hard it is for an omega and an alpha to conceive in that way.” He scoffed.
“...do you want to get out of here?” He asked. He figured if he wanted to break from his wives influence , this was the way to do it. -
Luci decided to ignore what he said, she was that kind of person. He looked around the bar for a few seconds and leaned towards him with a small smirk. "Are you sure you want to ask that question?"He asked invading his personal space a little too much for most peoples liking.
-
Ciel matched his smirk with one of his own. “ absolutely.” He said breathlessly. He was aware of the hatred of his wives family, but he was happily ignoring them.
-
Luci chuckled for a moment, he downed the rest of the drink, "Lets go then." He said and got up and started to leave the bar.
-
Ciel downed his drink and quickly took Luci by the hand. The human was surprisingly just slightly tipsy after so many drinks. His real personality beginning to leak through the manipulation.
-
Luci jumped slightly when his hand was grabbed but continued walking out, "So, where are we going?" He asked not knowing where his apartment was, Luci was not taking him to his home.
-
Ciel hummed. “ My apartment” he yawned “ it’s a bit out of the way, since it’s where I’d go to get peace from her, and I haven’t been there in a while.” He said slowly, as if trying to think.
He shared the address.
