Luci nodded very slowly, "Yes, very unfortunate." He reassured him quietly. He wasn't positive how to deal with such a humane display of affection... He wasn't sure how to comfort something like that. He didn't really want to but he knew it look weird if he didn't comfort a grieving widow in a crumbling mess half a foot away from him. Now, he was used to emotions, he did have them but it was rare for people of his kind to display them openly thus, no need for comforting.

The man smiled tenderly. “ I’m sorry, I-i shouldn’t be breaking down in front of a stranger.” He sighed softly. “ h-how did you know Kathleen?” He asked him curiously.
-
He nodded slowly and gave him the softest smile he could muster, "I worked with her." He stated, "I was a little new so we weren't that close but she was a wonderful person." He said and gently placed a hand on the grieving man's leg tenderly.
-
Ciel smiled softly as he nodded. “ t that she was.” He said gently, “ that she was.” He mumbled again. “ can I ask your name?” He asked the other man quietly
-
Lucifer nodded slowly, "I'm Lucifer, call me Luci though. It's an odd name but its also a long story."
-
“ I’m Ciel.” He said smiling gently. “ it it’s a pleasure to meet you.” He mumbled gently.
-
Lucifer nodded slowly, "The pleasure is mine." He said softly and looked towards where the man's wife laid. He still hadn't seen what was so intriguing about this human but it didn't really matter.
-
Ciel sighed gently as he walked over and placed his hand on her casket. “ rest in peace my love, you will be missed.” He told her gently , not noticing that around her casket he had caused roses to blossom. None of the other humans noticed,
-
Lucifer watched him carefully. He tilted his head slightly and stared at the blooming roses and felt like rolling his eyes but somehow managed not to.
-
Ciel walked away almost tripping on the roses.
-
Lucifer raised an eyebrow with a small chuckle as he watched him.
-
“ where did these come from?” He muttered before sitting back down. He shook gently.
-
Lucifer was getting tired of this tedious encounter and was more or less finding this kill not worth the time he was putting into it. He zoned out and started to think about the joy he'd get out of this

( oooff I don’t know how to make Ciel interest him, any tips?)
Ciel was taken to the funeral service by his mother in law, a faerie who had been considering taking him for her own now that her daughter couldnt stop her.
Ciel turned her advances down politley before heading to the bar. -
Not particularly... He just kind of finds humans boring and dull so like make him second guess?)
Lucifer turned and watched Ciel for a little bit trying to hide his excitement. He uncrossed her legs and got up from his position, he fixed his suit despite his hatred for the thing. He took his easy strides to the coffin as some other people had done and when he stood alone a small smirk came across his lips and his intricate blue eyes starred past the sunglasses to the coffin "You better be watching this." He paused, "It loses a bit of fun if you don't." He turned around slowly and took his time continuing to stalk his prey.
