Yana looked confused “ what’s her obsession with that odd earth animal?” He asked confused along with the mystery of the heir of the 15 th stair.
Ztar began to growl and yana pulled her close.
Jaxx walked over and attached himself to Yana. -
Beetle asked "Who is the heir of the 15th stair? Just some rhyming stuff someone planted?"

“I dunno. Maybe it has something to do wi5 the fifteenth floor? We are a quite large Inn.” Archer mumbled with a shrug. “I am curious as to who this is though.” He held up a picture of Kenitu and a strange man,

Yana shrugged “you could ask the guests if they’ve seen him around maybe?” He suggested arms crossed , though holding onto jaxx still.
Jaxx hummed quietly “ anything for tracking?” Jaxx asked as ztar prowled over to archer, -
Beetle "I don't think so. Most guest don't pay attention to other guest that are here. Most people aren't observant."

“That or they’re drunk.” Archer said with a laugh. Drunkards of all shapes and sizes came to the Inn, along with normal patrons. It would be difficult to find one man in all of that.

Yana kept looking at the key in his hands curiously.
Jaxx looked around curiously. “ the ghost hasn’t affected this room, which ...seems odd.”
“ He’s right, a ghost will normally attach itself to a place that the living person spent a lot of time, or had an emotional attachment to, its weird though that this place feels completely untouched...” -
Beetle sarcastically said "Riiight." after hearing Jaxx and Yana's explanation.

“Oh don’t be an ass.” Archer said, glaring at Beetle. “I don’t know much about spirits but their words seem resonable. Perhaps she’s avoiding this place for a reason? Maybe we should find what that key opens.”

Yana looked ready to punch Beetle. “ look you insensitive little bug, you’re being highly offensive. My people are known as the spirit walkers. The fact that you feel the need to enforce your beliefs on others makes me sick,a nd if you do it again.” He trailed off angrily before calming down and glancing at Archer with a nod.
“ the key...I feel something is off about it? But I don’t know if it’s positive or negative energy...the energy isn’t fresh. Her spirit ....hasn’t been here in a while...at least I don’t think so.” -

Jaxx nodded , feeling upset at Beetles comment. He wasn’t absolutely sure why though.

Beetle said "I'm not enforcing my beliefs on people. I'm just not easily conned by things, unlike you. Tremors and some scribbles on a piece of paper don't equal ghost. Find me something I can't explain and then I'll believe."

Archer didn’t know what any of it meant. It was all a jumbled confusing mess, as if someone had made the clues without making the answer. “I think we should visit the 15th floor, since it’s our only solid clue right now.” -
( I mean, beetle is coming off suuuuper racist to me personally? Since Yana is being pretty obvious that this is something his people have long since believe don’t in, and have actual evidence for ...that and Ztar is a spirit. Sooo sorry prime.)
Yana suddenly decked Beetle. “ how about my very f---ing existence your absolute-“ Yana calmed down. The bartenders had experience kicking out drunk patrons who broke the rules. So he didn’t exactly hit lightly.
“ if you’d ever briefed to look up my speciesi you’d know that Ztar is a varia. A graveyard spirit. “ he said with a scoff before nodding to archer. “ sure thing boss.”
Jaxx pulled Beetle to his feet, though he didn’t say anything. He didn’t know what to make of this.
( tbh the whole reason K is mad is that she doesn’t want some trash bby stealing her haunting grounds. ) -
(It's fine guys. I kinda like the whole being mean to Beetle thing. Problem is I think I'm making him too unlikeable. He's supposed to have no people skills and be intolerant, but I think I made him too much. Plus I didn't think Yana was a ghost.)
Beetle fell and just said "Ow." He got off the ground with Jaxx's help. He then rubbed his head and said "Let's just do what Archer wants."
(Being honest, he's acting this way because he's bitter about not being a pilot like his friends and he 's using that to antagonize everyone, subconsciously.)
