Serena, bored of school and being alone, trier to skip class and in getting caught, was suspended for two days. She had timried to skip before so this is why she got suspended temporarily. They called David and Minerva for one to pick her up

Lucy and her friends were backstage, doing their make up and gossiping. “Girl, you savage.” Lucy’s friend Amanda told her when Lucy told them about her matchmaking stunt with Chris and Aaron. “b----, I know.” Lucy chuckled. “Are you sure this is a good idea? I don’t think this costume is very flattering...” Lucy’s other friend Vanessa asked in concern. “b---- you’re beautiful.” Lucy told her. “Ya girl, we’re all sexy!” Amanda added. “Really?” Vanessa asked. “Look, I’m positive. We dress you in the most ugly looking rags that have been ripped, torn, and bathed in cat pee and I promise you’d still be beautiful I don’t give a damn what those plastic cheerleaders say.” Lucy lectured. Vanessa chuckled and nodded. “Alright, I’ll try my best.” She replied.

(I like, that Roman is like “ yeah monsters are real but my mom can’t possibly be the goddess of love Aphrodite.)
David looked at Minerva. “ this means he’s having sex, likely with a human, or plans to , and that decreases his value.” He sighed annoyed.

David just really dislikes roman, because roman has been swindling money from him, in poker, but he doesn’t want Minerva to know he’s taught any of the kids how to gamble.
