Mark and Zag just dropped Megan off at daycare . "Do you wnanna talk more about it?" He asked slowly

“How long were you and Paige together?” Zay asked, fidgeting nervously.

Before we started to date? 2 years " he murmured

“So... you cheated on her for me?” Zay asked, his lips pinching together as his brows furrowed.

No . We dated before university. I broke up with her before asking you out "

“So how did you get together with her while we were dating?” Zay asked.

Drunk . Saw her at a bar. After our first fight " he says softly

“So it was a one time thing?” Zay asked, calming down a bit. “How did you two break up?” He then asked, wondering if his rage to Paige about the abuse was more or less than the original break up. If the break up was worse, and he was able to go back to her that one time, then whose to say this would have ended it?

he nods " We both wanted different things. I wanted to wait and live my life, have kids when I was in my early thirties while she wanted them right away. She got hr wish I suppose"

“Alright...” Zay replied, considering this. “So what’s your plan with Megan? Looks like Paige couldn’t put her money where her mouth was.” Zay asked.
