Beautiful grey clouds filled with the potential of a horrific storm loomed over the small village below, a deep chuckle echoing off of them as they blocked out the sun. The helpless humans below ran and stumbled, screaming for their lives, their screams echoed in the pitch black as they ran into their homes. "Pathetic. Truly pathetic." Farrim chuckled, a ball of fire forming in his hands, illuminating the darkness with a dim horrific light. "They heard themselves like sheep." He muttered, sending the fire to the grass. The fire quickly raced to devour the grass, soon catching onto the village houses, burning them all to the ground. Farrim breathed in the screams of the humans with a smirk as he breathed in the smoke that's smell appeared to him like a rose to a human. "Too easy. I want bigger fish to fry." He sighed in a bloodthirsty voice, turning to a large city of glass structures filled to the millions with humans. He smirked before flying over, his expression softening as he studied the forest rivers below. Why did the humans get such a beautiful world?
-
A bright golden light,Periced through the grey clouds as Zaire dived down in speed of white light as she stared at the destroyed town with a angry scowl, soon flying down as she saved any survivors and took them to a more safer area before she flew back up as she searched around for the culprit, her wings spreading out as she glided over the destruction, know only one thing that could've done this."Demon..." She hissed out, through clenched teeth as she saw something flying ahead of her, from the corner of her eye as she sped after it in a white blur, her twin katans drawn from her holdster's,that went in an x-shaped,resting comfortably in her back.
-
Farrim sighed as he saw a star shine in the sky, the star that told people if an angel was on Earth. "Anger the humans you anger him I suppose." He muttered, flying into the forest below and hiding in the trees.
-
Zaire looked down towards the forest as she narrowed her eyes,as she flew above the trees, seeing that her large wings wouldn't allow her to go through, soon letting out an annoyed sigh when she saw nothing, soon turning around and heading back towards the destroyed town, hopefully rebuild it and revive anyone, who were killed.
-
Farrim smirked as he got a good look at the angel. She looked like a good fighter, certainly experienced and knew what she was doing. Yet still niave and full of good will, as angels usually were. She was attractive too, to say the least. Farrim smirked, spreading his wings out wide and sprinting up. He smiled as he lit his wings on fire, they were fireproof so he enjoyed doing that to show off, and spinning around to get the angel's attention. He stopped, watching her with a smirk to see if she noticed him.
-
Zaire stopped as she noticed something from the corner of her eye as she turned around, her hands tightening around the handles of her twin katans as she glared at the demon ahead of her, soon noticing the fire but tried not to think about it at the moment, her expression turning blank."Should've known that you were the culprit of the destroyed town,demon...."She said, her wings spreading out as they ruffled with anger.
-
Farrim chuckled before swooping back down into the forest to hide again. He leaned against a tree trunk, arms crossed as were legs.
-
Zaire narrowed her eyes as she dived down, soon landing softly in the ground, infront of the forest as her eyes glowed gold, the color filling up her entire eye, glaring up towards the trees, her wings folding against her back"I have no time for your games,Demon..."She spoke coldly as she soon entered the woods, her guard on high alert.
-
"The name's Farrim." Farrim told her, stepping into the light. "Besides. We're immortal. We have all the time in the world, angel." He chuckled, mimicking how she called him demon. "Look. You don't want games? Fine. I'll get to the point." He told her, his face going blank as he approached her. "I have nothing against your people or your master sweetheart. My mission is... Personal. So, if you want to stop me, you're welcome to try, but since we can't die I'm going to be playing my games all I want." He told her, walking circles around her, the circles getting smaller and smaller until their wings touched. He then stopped, looking her right in the eyes. "So if you tire of them, leave me to my buisness and worry about saving who you can. Otherwise, join me. Games are more fun with an opponent." He whispered into her ear before spreading his wings wide, thrusting himself into the air and flying off.
-
Zaire's wings instinctively flared out, once feeling his wings, brush against her own, sending a jolt of mixed feelings throughout her body as she glared after his retreating form as her eyes changed back to their normal look, soon turning around and heading out of the forest, his words ringing in her mind as her eyes glowed, her determination and fighting spirit taking over as she flew up into the air, soon glancing towards the direction, that he just flew away to."Farrium...."She mumbled his name under her breath, her eyes narrowing in thought as she retracted her weapons into their holsters.
-
Farrim chuckled when he saw her flying after him, flying in different directions to make it look like he was trying to lose her, when in reality he was just playing with her and made it so she could catch up but it would still be a challenge.
-
Zaire's eyes locked onto him as she continued to chase him down, often times getting dizzy by the many directions that he was moving in."Would you just stay still for five seconds.."She snapped out as she flew after him in a white blur, soon drawing her weapons back out as she glared at his form.
-
Farrim came to a stop so quick, she ended up speeding past him. He chuckled as he watched her speed off, flying in place with his arms crossed and a smirk on his lips. "You know, I didn't catch your name, beautiful." He chuckled.
-
Zaire soon turned around slowly as she narrowed her eyes at him, flying on place as well as she kept a right grip on her weapons."Why should I tell you?"She snapped out,her wings ruffling in annoyance, already getting tired of this demon, but she couldn't leave until he was taken care of.
-
"Alright, not naive." Farrim chuckled. "That's Fine. I think I'll prefer calling you kitty kat, angel, pretty bird, sweet heart, or some other name anyways." He chuckled, looking thoughtful. "Which to choose... Which to choose... Meh. I'll just call you whatever I feel like calling you." He chuckled with a grin before speeding off again. He landed at a large abondoned castle where he had chosen to live. The war scarred field that surrounded the castle reminded him of humanity's darkness. He landed on the roof of the castle, staring at the battle field below. He remembered when he was young, believing that just because his family hurt him didn't mean all humanity was bad. He came up to the mainland for his final training, he had to live amongst a human to determine whether he would be an angel or demon. He looked after a little boy as what humans would call a spirit or Genie, the boy being a prince. Farrim became very close to the prince, who was about five, Farrim being about eight in Demon Years. When war came to the land, Farrim watched with the young prince as the King and Queen desperately tried to make peace with the intruders, only for the intruders to declare every man, woman, and child be slaughtered by their hand. The Prince, waiting to avenge his kingdom, sacrificed himself so the villains would leave. The king and Queen then enraged from their son's death, completely ignored the point of their son's sacrifice and continued the war. It was a devastating site, and when he had passed the test to become an angel, he chose to be a demon instead. There was no way he could willingly protect such a terrible race.
