Thread Topic: Wreck it Ralph Role Play
-
This is a different arcade than the one in the movie Wreck it Ralph, so different games, same concept. We’re all video game characters in our own video game.
Rules:
You have to make a card for each main character of the game. (Good guy(s), Bad guy(s), and optional NPC or two)
You have to make up the plot of the game, describe its features through that characters eyes
Develop a good backstory for your character that makes them play their role
Develop a simple backstory for the game (old game, new game, remake, spin off, etc.)
You can make up to three games, something has to happen to put one of the three out of order in order to make a new one.
Wreck it Ralph arcade games as well as classic arcade games will be included in the arcade as fillers/places for plot to take place, however you can’t use them as your game.
You can make a spin off of an already existing game
More rules will be added depending on role play.

Game card:
Name : ultimate danganronpa arcade! ; the killing cruise.
Age: a few weeks maybe?
Plot: seventeen of the most talented students on the planet wake up confused with no memories of how they got onto the cruise in the first place!
They meet a murderous teddy bear m and are forced to kill and get away with murder unless they can solve the mystery of who the mastermind is,
Characters : Minako Schender ( protagonist) Rin Shiroyuki ( Mastermind.) and Monokuma and MonoTori ( mascots.)
They’re the kind of feature characters?
Game play: so the game is interesting since one machine can have many save files, and you can password them, though they will dete after four months of non-use,
It is a chapter by chapter gameplay and has many machines so up to seven players can play at once.
It’s single player, and it’s all about finding clues, and is much like a visual novel, expect it has challenges and mini games both in and out of trial, including a rhythm game.
World: danganronpa
Reputation: it’s uhm kind of strange or is considered such, as it has some really strange features, and whacky creations.
Other: the machines are all beside each other, but the player enters into a booth so that no one can be spoiled. -
There was already a character card...
-
I know, but I already had a card for minako, so I just added in the important information from your card so I didn’t have to restyle her card,
-
Character card:
Name: Scarlet
Age: 16
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight
Nationality: British
Appearance:
Role: good guy
Personality: shy, quiet, skittish, easy to scare, cautious, caring, curious, and unpredictable when you first meet her. Upon befriending her she is kind, caring, protective, bold, brave, and selfless.
Fears: Losing herself to the darkness again, dark, blood, and sharp objects.
Desires: To be free from the darkness that’s constantly chasing her.
Powers: She has a limited control of fire
Weaknesses: controlling fire takes about as much energy for her as dancing would be to someone else. It can be fun but too much leaves you sore and exhausted. She also gets very panicked or unresponsive in the dark. You prefer her panicking. Don’t ask why.
Weapons/tools: She uses whatever she can find.
Bio: She’s programmed with a backstory where her fire powers accidentally killed her mother when she was a baby. Her father abused her ever since, making sure she was always so exhausted from chores and defending herself that she would pass out if she dared used her powers. She attempted to use her powers to kill herself from exhaustion, only for her to pass out and stop before the exhaustion could be lethal and the fire to burn down the hose.
Behind the screen of the game, she recently realized that her mind is getting wiped, reloaded, and wiped again every time someone makes a save file. So after work, she has no idea what she did during work, and during work, she just sticks with the program. When Scarlet finds out she is the victim of the game, she decides she wants to be more.

Game Card:
Name: Needles
Age (how long was it in the arcade): it’s a new game opening up that week
Plot:
The player is a teenage child going with their mother to Take Your Kid to Work Day. Here, they make friends, enemies, relationships, and rivalries with the teenage patients, explore the world, and in the end choose the side to a race for freedom.
Characters:
Player: Main Character of Game, can be the main protagonist, main antagonist, or anything in between.
Scarlet: A good guy in the game, Scarlet often shows interest in being kind and helpful to the player. She is one of the model patients, having been in the hospital for an attempted suicide that incidentally caused the death of her abusive father.
Hale: A good guy, one of the security guards at the hospital that is often protective of the Player.
Skyler, Tyler, and Lee: Bad guys. Two brothers and their sister who work as nurses at the hospital. They are corrupt and are introduced in a cut scene where the player discovers them trying to encourage Scarlet to self harm. If the player had befriended Scarlet, they try to stop it and the nurses then become their enemy. If not, they simply ignore them.
Daniel: A possessive and controlling a--hole that wants everything and anything to be in his control. A bad guy no matter what, if the player is a male he sees him as a threat for his need to have Scarlet be his. If the player is female he wants her to be his.
Patients: Other NPCs that are part of the game.
Police: Other NPCs that are part of the game.
Nurses: Other NPCs that are part of the game.
Visitors: Other en pee seas that belong in the game.
Shadows: Something lives in the forest that even the nurses, police, and even Daniel are afraid of. Stay alert.
Game play:
Players get to design their teenage character and choose a name before they are given a short clip that explains their character’s situation.
At first, you think the game’s a horror game. The player is taken inside a mental hospital with their mother, a nurse in the hospital, where the patience appear to be dangerous. However when the player begins to learn how to show them they mean no harm in the game’s tutorial, you find out you are able to either befriend or anger them.
From there, in level one, the game is an open world role play game where you can befriend, help out, make enemies with, compete with, or even have relationships with the different patients.
In level two, the game shows points of views of the main characters (only the ones you befriend) before they were in the hospital. The more people you befriend in level one, the more stories you can play in level two. If you make more enemies than friends in level one, level two is instead you playing the enemies point of view, either chasing the player down or trying to escape the hospital.
In level three, a few of the main characters escape, with or without the players help in level one or two, and they are being hunted down. The player can choose to help the patients or help the police, in which it then becomes an adventure game full of puzzles and battles. Level three is the only non-open world part of the game, becoming sort of like Hero’s duty where you have to follow your team.
World:
The mental hospital is a maze of hallways with different doors leading to different rooms. Bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, staff rooms, etc. Some rooms are storage rooms with Items that can help you, some rooms will lead you to cut scenes explaining some of the story, and some will lead you to another hallway. In the Center there is a cafeteria, where most of the patients and staff spend their time.
Outside of the hospital is a thick forest full of mazes, traps, puzzles, and obstacles. You can go out there during level one and two (assuming you aren’t playing a flash back) however the forest is endless for those levels and you’ll likely get lost. There are other rooms outside as well, like the Green House, the campfire, the beach, the park, and the orchard that the player can explore.
In level three, the player has a certain path through the forest and over mountains that they have to follow their team through, fighting off whatever obstacles are there. Friendly fire is an option but isn’t advised. It is possible, however, to switch sides. Level three will offer you many choices that might allow you to do this. So level three, despite not being open world, is still role play.
Reputation: because it’s a new game, they haven’t made too much of a name for themselves yet. However people seem very interested in it and other games are excited to meet the characters.
Other: The game is rated M for Mature audiences because of violence, inappropriate language, and optional sexual mini games shall your character choose to date in level one. -

I’m not kidding. -
Name: Daniel
Age: 17
Gender: male
Sexuality: straight
Nationality: American
Appearance:
Role: bad guy
Personality: in the game he’s egotistical, bold, dramatic, cruel, selfish, controlling, harsh, sharp, clever, and seductive.
However Behind the screens he is Scarlet’s best friend and is protective of her. He is kind, caring, strict, and smart.
Fears: becoming the villain he is in the game, losing Scarlet, and being forever seen as a bad guy.
Desires: To help Scarlet find happiness in her life.
Powers: enhanced speed and strength
Weaknesses: He’s a hopeless romantic but too cowardly to seek romance in fear he’ll end up like his character.
Weapons/tools: He uses a katana or two guns.
Bio: Behind the screens, he feels terrible about how Scarlet is treated by the game. He was the one who designed it so that Scarlet wouldn’t remember what happens in the games, knowing the game forcing her to fall in love/go through all that trauma/being reset over and over again would drive her insane. So he hacked into the code to separate her job memory from her actual memory. He wasn’t programmed with a backstory for work. -
