"I didn't make it mad, I just said, 'I wonder how this baby runs'! How would that make it mad?"
As he continued to speak, the lion began to rise from its spot on the floor. Jules clung desperately to the armrest as it justled the rest of the crew about. Suddenly, the lion crouched down as if it was about to pounce.
Ephraim grabbed onto the chair with one hand and grabbed onto the back of Rhea's shirt. "Alex, grab Ray's shirt, and hold on tight!" -
( I like that his immediate reaction is ‘ protecc the smol one’)
Alex did as instructed, and grabbed onto Ry’s shirt, “ what does this thing want” Alex said as Ry clutched onto his backpack. Alex noted that the initials embroidered in forest green on the bag were R.O.W. He figured that the smallest human in the room, could have something like Oliver as a middle name. Though, Ry didn’t strike him as an-he remembered it was a potential life or death situation and he looked at King for guidance.
Ry looked terrified. Ry has a phobia of the unknown. WHiel he had been working on it, since being part of thegarrison meant that it would be a normal occurance to not have prior warning, howdver something like this defiantly set him off. He squeezed his eyes tight. Just focusing on memories of his family. -
(I was going to have him fend for himself, but Ephraim isn't that selfish LOL)
The lion lept upwards, crashing into the cave's ceiling. As rocks started to fall around them, the lion jumped up, suspended in air. After a moment, it started to fly through the air, going up into the night sky.
Jules screamed as they ascended, his knuckles turning white as he clung harder to the chair. He was terrified, and while he didn't want to admit it, the scream was more than enough to let the rest of the team know.
Ephraim looked wildly at the controls, trying to figure out if there was a way to direct the lion to go where they wanted to go. "Jules, take control of this thing!" He yelled, nodding to the controls. "You're a pilot, right? PILOT!"
"I know how to pilot simulation spacecrafts, not LIONS!" He cried back. -
“ Well figure it out!” Alex yelled at the other boy. He wasn’t scared by many things, but being lifted into space by an alien lion robot was defintley one of those things. Alex tightened on Ry’s shirt. This wasn’t what he had thought he would be doing.

Ry started to take deep breaths, trying to prevent a panic attack, but oddly, bottling his feelings didnt seem to work in a situation like this. Surprisingly. The smallest Male present started muttering something. It was something Fabian had told him before he and their father had left that morning, the last morning they had had together. Rhea Olivia White had always been prone to panic attacks, but she wasn’t the only one, so Fabian had shared with her a special combination of codes. That same code was what Ry was muttering to himself.

Jules started to randomly grab at random controls. He had no clue what he was doing, and with every button he pressed, he found himself becoming more and more flustered. Nothing was changing their ascension. It looked like they were heading straight for space. "Come on, please, tell me what you--"
He froze as a vision came to him. There was a castle, but it was unlike any castle he had ever seen. After the vision went away, he realized that the lion was taking them there. He glanced back at the others. It was selfish, but he wanted to go to that castle. He leaned back into the chair, letting the lion lead them up into space.
Ephraim looked at Rhea, a sad look on his face when he saw his fear. To be honest, he, too, was starting to slip into an episode. He went out of his way to go back to earth, and here he was, going back to space. He felt tears starting to prick at the corner of his eyes. "It's going to be alright, Ray. We're in this together." -
Ry looked up at Ephraim with a frightened expression, before putting in a brave face and nodding “ yes sir!” He said quietly.
Ry breathed in deeply. Fabian wouldn’t be crying in a situation like this, he knew he had to be strong.
Alex meanwhile had noticed that their current pilot had completely stopped trying to get the lion to stop.
“ hey man, what are you playing at!” -
Ephraim gave him a small smile, nodding in response. "You're doing great. You're very brave." He awkwardly moved his hand around, giving him a shoulder pat. At Alex's mention, he looked at Jules and realized he wasn't handling the controls. They were past the ozone layer. Gasping, Ephraim leaned out, staring at space. "Jules--"
"It's taking us somewhere," he said softly. "And it doesn't want me to interfere."
"How do you know that, cadet!?"
"It told me so." -
Ry beamed. Praise from the man who had worked alongside his brother and father was exactly what he wanted to hear. It made him feel a lot better, that was until he heard Alex, and Ephraim.
Ry looked shocked at what Jules was saying.
“ Wait, Wait an alien spaceship is talking to you, and you’re not the least bit concerned?!” He asked trying not to panic again.
“ where the hell is it taking us? To the aliens that Ephraim was talking about?” Alex asked his voice quiet, but threatening. Alex was not in the mood for this s---, -

Jules shook his head, standing from the chair to look back at them. "I swear, it's not like that. It's... It's a castle. I think someone needs us. Our help, I mean. They need our help."
"You're talking big words for something the rest of us didn't see," Ephraim said, nervous. "How about you let me take the controls--"
Before Ephraim could finish talking, the lion jerked. Jules staggered, and Ephraim tightened his grip. All of the sudden, a warp-hole appeared in front of the lion in the middle of space. The lion was headed right for it. As it went through, it increased its flying speed drastically. -
Ry screamed in terror when they went through the warp hole.
Alex lost his grip on art, and he began to drift away, until Ry quickly grabbed a hold of his leg and managed to pull him back, where he held on tighter to the other boy.
Alex glared at Jules. “ what? So the lion is taking us to space Disney world” he hissed at the other boy.
“ cool! There’s a Disney world in....you’re being- oh, wait no I get it.” Ry muttered. -
Jules threw his hands up, immediately throwing them back down to catch himself. "I-I don't know where it's taking us! Piss off, Alex!"
Ephraim peered out through the window. He stared intently at the massive castle that was now before them. Softly, he said, "That's no Disneyland."
Jules turned his attention to the castle. Immediately, he pointed at it, shouting, "See!? I'm right, you dickhead." -
( rhea is disappointed she wanted to get a dole whip.)
Alex glared at Jules, before his eyes widened when they landed in front of the castle. “ I guess a broken clock is right twice a day.” He mumbled
Alex sighed. It could be worse, they could be adrift in space with no supplies.
Ry looked very excited to land near a castle, his eyes had lit up, and it was clear he was intrigued. “ should we go inside?” He asked hopefully. -

* Alex face palmed. “ we don’t know if we can breathe on that planet, besides it could be hostile, or even like a mirage you idiot, don’t be so rec-“

Ephraim immediately followed Ry, not wanting him to get lost or injured. The two were now just in front of the castle entrance. Its doors loomed dozens of feet above them, making the former pilot feel very small.
Jules waited for Alex to leave, not wanting him to try to touch the controls or do anything funny with the newfound lion. "I'm watching you," he growled, giving Alex the 'I'm watching you' hand-to-eye gesture.
