Long ago, Monsters and Humans lived happily on the mainland, when one day the humans became afraid of the monsters and declared war. In the end, the monsters lost, banished to live trapped underground by a magic barrier. The monsters created their own society underground, depressed from the lack of sunlight, hope, and purpose. However they kept going with their increased compassion and love. After a terrible tragedy however, the King promises to try and find any way possible to break the barrier, win the war against humans, and free the monsters in order to bring back hope. After years of research by the Royal Scientist, it is discovered that the power of Seven Human Souls is required to break the barrier.
C1 is the seventh human to fall to the underground. Their original goal is to get home. You can decide to change this during character build however. C1 must face a lot of challenges, since they are the last soul the Monsters need in order to get to the mainland.
C2 is the first person C1 meets, the main antagonist of the story. C2’s existence is unknown to the rest of the characters since they only interact with C1, who they believe to be their deceased brother. C2 is insane, having once died and been forced back to life. Because of the way C2 died, they believe in the term Kill or Be Killed. These beliefs can be changed near the end of the role play with character development.
C3 meets C1 after the encounter with C2 and brings them to their home. C3 teaches C1 about the world and becomes C1’s adoptive parent. C3 warns C1 to never leave their new home, for there is danger for C1 beyond it. How C1 continues is up to C1 and C3. C1 encounters C2 again after they continue, how this encounter goes depends on how they continue.
Next C1 meets C4, C3’s best friend. C4 protects C1 throughout the rest of the role play (unless C1 kills C5, more on that later) C4 also tries to get C1 to be C5’s friend, because C5 is a very kind, naive, lonely monster hiding behind a mask of confidence. C5 believes if they capture a human, they will finally be part of the Royal Gaurd, which would allow them to be popular. These goals can change depending on character development. C4, protecting C1, doesn’t let that happen. What happens between C1 and C5 depends on C1 and C5. C4 also talks to you about a strange character that keeps messing with C5. When they discribe this character, it sounds a lot like C2.
C6 is C5’s best friend. C6 believes that humans are cruel and their only intention is to cause misery to Monsters. How C6 talks to C1 in this part depends on how C1 has been during the entire role play, but for the most part C6 doesn’t trust C1. C6, the head of the Royal Gaurd, intends to kill C6 and bring their soul to the king. This can change depending on C1 and C6. If there was a good solution with C5, C4 can help out.
C7 is the Royal Scientist and a hopeless romantic. They want to be part of C1’s story, so they ask their best friend C8 to pretend to be C1’s enemy so that C7 can ‘save’ C1 from multiple scenarios. After becoming friends with C1, C7 tries to use this act to convince C1 not to leave. However C8, wanting to take the human soul for themselves to get the reward, betray C7 and actually attack C1. How this works out depends on C1, C7, and C8.
Because C7 is close to C6, if C1 kills C6 then C7 and C8 evacuate the rest of the Kingdom to a protected place, only for C8 to also trick out that plan in order to try and get the citizens to kill C1 or at least wear them down so C8 can protect C7.
After that, C1 continues on, learning more about the kingdom, C2, and the royal family. Then they encounter C4, who talks to them about their journey. If C1 found good solutions, C4 will just talk to them to help them prepare for what’s coming. If not, C4 will battle them. If they get past C4, C1 continues on to meet C9, the king that guards C1’s way home. No matter what C1 chooses to do at this point, C2 kills C9. What happens after that depends on C1 and C2. -
Basically Undertale but we replace the characters and choices with our own.

Personality (before first encounter with C1): Ripper doesnt like humans very much and is very aggressive towards any human he finds. He is a little sadistic and tends to 'play' with those he is hunting, often going out of his way to torment the humans that are unlucky enough to encounter him. He is overly protective and possessive of his friends
Personality (After first encounter with C1): if the human hasnt harmed anyone it is possible to convince him not to harm the human. Its not going to stop him from scaring the wits out of them though. He is kind of a goof and often takes things too Letterally
Likes: scaring people, the dark, hunting, the wishing room.
Dislikes: bright lights, loud sounds, being laughed at, the cold.
Fears: hes afraid of fire and its actually one of the few ways to get him to leave you alone.
Desires: for everyone to be free
Powers: echo location, green magic, telekinesis(one way{he can talk to you but not hear your thoughts})
Weaknesses: as a reptile he is very vulnerable to the cold and his eyes are extremely sensitive to light. He also cant swim very well and usually will avoid deep water
Skills: tracking, stealth, strategy, and leading small groups of people
Bio: Ripper was born underground with two other siblings, and grew up on storys of the surface. When he was little he found a documentary on human wars, which led to his belief that humans are cruel and vile creatures that have no kindness in their hearts. One of his siblings died when they were exploring Waterfall and slipped down into the abyss below, which caused his other sibling to Fall Down about a year later. Due to those events, Ripper became determined to join the royal guard to help prevent others from going through the same pain
