Jonah, not even looking up from the Switch, said " I think he's in his room." He kept playing until he noticed something in the sky. He saw a cloud that looked like a Triceratops head. He stopped playing and looked at it.
-
Nadia looked around as well. Seemed that their entire friend group was here except Scott, who was probably off doing god knows what. When Jonah said that he was in his room, her worry lessened slightly. If he was in his room, then Scott wouldn't do anything extremely crazy like hop overboard or stand on tables. Nadia honestly wouldn't put it past him to do those things. She waved at Ayize as a greeting but then made her way over to Alison and Jace's food pile to swipe a few things.
-
Scott wandered around the deck of the ship, bumping into things along his way. The creatures began to give chase. "This s--- ain't the good!" he wandered a little faster, almost running from the demonic creatures. This led him to run right into the side railing, almost causing him to fall over the side of the ship. Everything around him was filled with intense colors, whatever he took was either really strong or not what he blew 20 bucks on. He knew something was seriously up when he could start to smell green, which was concerning, because he had only ever smelled yellow. He had to either get off the ship, go back to his cabin, or find one of his friends.
-
Alison relaxed when people responded positively to the gift of food. Once she was done with her own food, she sat on a deck chair and she closed her eyes “ I’m sorry, I’m just in need of a nap.” She said quietly. This was true, she did had trouble sleeping last night but she wasn’t ready to go back to her room.
Jace yawned with a stretch as he finished his burger. “ I’ll go get him.” He said he waved to them as he left without waiting for anyone to say anything. He looked around the ship as he walked. He had a strange feeling about this, but he wasn’t too concerned. He didn’t think Scott would be impulsive enough to jump from the ship. -
Ayize, suddenly overwhelmed by the swarm of people, took a few steps back and looked around to survey his surroundings. His friends seemed to buzz with activity when they were all together, in contrast to the sleepy weather surrounding them. Ayize nodded in affirmation of his mental comparison and observed the scenery, watching the grey-blue water roll elegantly underneath the ship as it reflected the damp and cloudy sky. Everything seemed to move together in symphonic harmony, as if the sky and sea were one living organism. Yet something sinister seemed to linger in the deep.
Squinting into the grey sky, Ayize's thoughts about the ominous feeling that had begun to rise in his chest were halted as he made out a lanky figure stumbling in the distance towards the ship's railing. Leaning forward, he was able to spot the unmistakable brown curls of Scott. As he watched Scott make his way into the railing, Ayize called out to the figure in alarm, his loud voice cutting through the thick air. "Hey!"
(sorry for the late response) -
(Will probably get the storm going my next turn. Get yourselves mentally prepared. )
Kira watched as both Ayize and Jace take off after Scott. She could just barely see the top of his head off on the other side of the roof of the ship. She shook her head, moving to sit down close to Alison. Stretching out her limbs, she asked, "Go ahead and rest, I'm in no rush to do anything."
As she laid herself out across the comfortable chair, her eyes drifted over to Nadia. She was eagerly going through the mass of food that Jace and Alison had brought up to the deck. Sitting up slightly, she asked, "Are there any sweets in that pile of food? I'm kind of hungry, but I'm craving something that isn't... Well, real food." -
Jonah sighed and decided to go help Jace and Ayize get Scott. He knew he should have been suspicious about that strange bag in his suitcase.
-
Nadia nodded at Kira and tossed her a donut from the food pile. In her mouth was a cookie, it was almost comical how she held it that way. Nadia took a bite out of it, and lowered it from her mouth with the bite visible. In her hands she carried an assortment of sweet stuff, just like Kira, Nadia, too, had a sweet tooth. She would've ran after Scott along with Jace, Ayize, and Jonah, but she figured the three boys would be able to stop Scott from doing anything extreme.
-
Scott stumbled into the railing when he heard someone call out his name, presumably one of his friends. Whoever it was it didn't matter because what he heard was way nicer then what he saw, but what he saw was much closer to him, and very scary. The intense colors he had seen had gotten much darker almost looking like a storm cloud surrounding him. The creatures from his room had followed him to the deck, and they looked like they were gonna gut him with a knife. "GET BACK!" He shouted at them, trying to intimidate them. These pills had to have been laced with something bad. Fortunately, he could feel the high going away, the darkness and creatures were fading away from existence. "Oh man I'm glad thats over." He sighed, and then passed out onto the deck.
Yall really assume the worst of him.)) -
Alison made a mumbled noise of agreement, as she slipped further and further into her peaceful rest. She wasn’t sleeping, she didn’t think she’d ever be comfortable sleeping around any one else. She was raised to watch her back.
Jace sighed as he lifted the other Male up, supporting him with an arm over his shoulder, “ knew we shouldn’t have left him alone.” He muttered as he moved the other boy over to the others, dumping him into a deck chair.
Jace looked rather irritated now. -
(I'm going to give Seth an extra 24 hours. I'll respond tomorrow morning if he doesn't.)
-
(sorry, I've been sick and didn't want to respond while I was delirious with fever. it would have been confusing for everyone.)
After Scott was put in the chair, Ayize sighed impatiently, though his face showed slight concern. He studied Scott for a moment before turning his attention to the others. Besides Scott's usual irresponsibility, the day seemed rather calm. It was almost discontenting. Ignoring this, he clamped a hand on Jace's shoulder in an attempt to comfort his friend, who seemed upset, before once again returning to his usual spot in the group of friends. He drifted towards the back of the group, watching their faces. Ayize crossed his arms, trying to seem cool and collected despite his stomach churning like a barrel of butter. The motion had been getting to him but he was growing used to it. Perhaps this trip was a good idea after all. -
(You're fine, your health is more important than the roleplay. I just wanted to make sure you got all the time that you needed, y'know?
I've been assuming the worst from Scott since his character sheet--)
Kira caught the donut with ease. She took a bite, savoring the sweet taste that seemed to melt onto her tongue. She laid back into the chair, taking small bites from the dessert and watching the sea before her. It was so calm and peaceful, she thought. The waves rolled back and forth under the ship, giving it a small rocking sensation. She closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling.
A blaring sound caused her to jerk upright in her seat. An alarm was blaring from the ship's speakers. Confused, she looked around, trying to figure out what was going on. Other ship goers were starting to rise and grab their belongings, hurrying to the staircase that would lead them into the ship's hold. Above them, dark, thick clouds were forming and moving at an alarming rate.
A voice cut through the alarm. "This is your ship's captain speaking. Our weather crew has detected an abnormal storm approaching us. We ask for you to stay calm and return to your rooms. It should pass over us and be gone within the hour, but we need you all to be safe."
Kira looked over at her friends, biting her lower lip. After a moment, she yelled at them, "Let's meet up in two of our rooms! Girls can come with me, and boys..." She paused, wondering who was the most responsible man in the group. She bit her lower lip, not wanting to make anyone feel bad. "The boys can go with Ayize!" -
(To be fair, when someone brings LSD on a boat, you just wonder what else he brought and think he does things like this all the time.)
Jonah walked to Ayize and said "You heard the captain, we need to remain calm, no matter what. Everyone stay calm." Jonah was calm outside but wasn't inside. -
Nadia perked up in alarm. She grabbed a few more things from the food pile but then followed after Kira. It couldn't be that bad, right? Captains handled this kind of stuff all the time, and the actual chances of them crashing wouldn't be that high.. would it? Nadia couldn't help the oncoming dread and fear that was building up in her. She really didn't want any of her friends to get hurt. Those clouds seem to come out of nowhere, almost like magic.
