Clementine told Percy and Turner their jobs as they returned, telling them to prepare for the interview as she cleaned herself up in the washroom.
-
Kory walked in,peaking at the shelves filled with books she hadn't even known existed. She loved to read.As a young girl her mother wanted her to clean and be a "proper lady" but Kory always loved to learn. It was no secret.
-
-
“Ah! You must be the new girl! The boss is in her office.” Percy greeted with a grin.
-
(Wait cancel that post)
-
“Ah! You must be the new girl! Wait in the office and the boss will be with you shortly.” Percy cheered. “You know Percy... New girl’s kinda cute.” Turner chuckled. “Meh, not my type.” Percy chuckled.
-
(lmao look at me sad potato 🥔 no one is my type XD)
"Thank you" Kory whispered as she walked off towards the office. She waited patiently as she took a seat at a chair and crossed her legs while tapping her knee lightly. -
(Potatoes are good. Be a proud potato. 👑)
🥔
Clementine came out of the bathroom and entered the office, smiling to see Kory. “Hello Kory. Tell me about yourself.” Clementine began as she sat down. -
(Aw, GTQ deleted my hard working potatoe placement...)
-
(it's ok I can see it :3)
"Oh yes,so my name is Kory Jane, I am 26 years old and I love reading and writing"she said. -
“What do you write?” She asked. “As you may, or may not, know, the library is a special one, filled with books written by library staff and by the town’s people.” Clementine told her.
-
"Ah yes,I uh,mostly poetry but I throw in some fantasy every once in a while"she said smiling.
-
“Alright. One last question, and no it’s not a trick I ask it at every interview as have owners of the library in the past.” Clementine told you. “What do you think of the statues outside?” She asked.
-
Kory thought for a moment. She remembered the enormous statues. She had never been one to lie so she did her best to be honest."They're interesting.."she began"they have a sense of mysteriousness I suppose"she said lost in thought.
-
(The weren’t enormous. The wooden statues I described at the beginning.)
