Selene at first questioned whether or not she should follow, but ended up did. She had no idea what a "telescope" was but she wasn't gonna ask cause that would make her seem crazy.
-
Once they reached the house, Kenyon simply opened the door since he had forgotten to lock it when he left to see the meteor-like object. He glanced behind his shoulder to see that Selene was following him. "I know it's not much.." Kenyon said sheepishly. His home had quite a comfy aesthetic, with soft browns, well-read books, and a smell like parchment paper and peppermint.
-
"Seems quite comfortable" she said softly, but loud enough for him to hear. She could smell some sort of mint? She wasn't sure since they didn't have anything like that where she came from.

I hate my self Newbiehi my names jasmine and i am 14 and i would love to make some friends
-
(Hey Jasmine nice to meet you :D I recommend you go to the lounge to meet people and conversate; you can message me specifically in my official thread: ))
Kenyon thanked her. "I get that alot; I didn't plan for my house to be this cozy but I guess I'm just a cozy person. Easy to talk to, or atleast that's what I've been told," Kenyon said. "Would you like something to drink, or eat?" -
"something to drink would be nice" Selene said. She could tell he was a nice guy, and lived a mostly comfortable life style.
-
Kenyon went into the kitchen to get Selene something to drink, opening the fridge. "Do you like orange juice? Or do you fancy some soda?" Kenyon asked her. He was a little hesitant to show Selene the attic where he worked, which was quite sporadic compared to the ground floor. It was full of notes, theories, drawings, pictures, studies, charts, graphs, etc. of the stars.
-
"Soda.....?" Selene said with a slight of a question. She had no clue what that was, it something different to her. Although most of this was foregin to her she still liked it
-
"You never tried soda?" Kenyon was quite surprised. Even if she were not from here, every place in the world more likely than not had some form of soda. Selene's parents must've either been really strict, or she must've been on the streets her whole life. Those theories didn't seem quite possible, though, since she didn't look homeless or broken in the slightest. He poured two glasses of sprite and handed one to her. "Cheers," he said, holding up the glass.
-
"Cheers" Selene said. Since the cup and drink was clear she was staring at the bubbles rising in it, slightly cautious to drink it. She didn't know anything about it, nor what it was.
-
Kenyon laughed a bit at Selene's hesitation. He took a sip of his own sprite to show her that it was okay. The drink was quite refreshing, actually, after a long night of work. Kenyon was like a vampire, up all night, sleeping all day.
-
(ironically I haven't had Sprite in a long time)
Selene cautiously took a sip of this weird drink. She couldn't quite describe how it tasted, like a mix of many flavors she previously knew of. But without all that, she liked it, so she drank the rest of her cup quickly. -
"Woah there," Kenyon said when Selene downed her cup. "Feel free to pour some more, if you'd like. I'm gonna go get you some blankets and stuff," Kenyon said, exiting the kitchen. It probably doesn't make sense to leave a stranger alone in your house, but Kenyon felt that she was trustworthy.
-
"Blankets?.." Selene said under her breath as to he could not hear. Once he had left the room she eyed different things in this strange room. It had so many different things, none of which she knew what did what
-
Kenyon's house was a three story, though not at all big and fancy. It was thin, more like a tower than a home. The height made it a prime place for stargazing, though. On the first floor lied the kitchen, the living room, and a bathroom. The second floor had a bedroom, a room that he turned into a small library, and a supply closet. On the third floor lied his office and his master bedroom, the whole top floor being roofed with a glass dome. On the second floor he went to this supply closet and got the needed things for Selene, then returned to the kitchen.
