"I'm Jacques!" Jacques introduced himself with a smile. "And that arrogant guy you're referring to is Felix, he's an old friend of mine. Which reminds me, I should really go and look for him! Wanna come with me?" He asked Tatsuya. -

Tatsuya didn’t want to see Felix. However he wanted to keep being eith Jaques, so he nodded shyly. “ a-alright, I’d like to stay with you if that’s ok.” He mumbled, -

"Right, then, let's go!" Jacques said, taking hold of Tatsuya's hand and walking towards the cafeteria. "Fair warning, we might have to face quite a crowd," Jacques said to Tatsuya. "It'll be okay, though, I'm gonna be right here with you!"

Tatsuya blushed faintly and he hesitantly squeezed Jacques hand. It felt....nice. He ndoded. “ I I y yeah.” He said quietly. Tatsuya realised chances are one of his senses would notice he didn’t have food, and would tell his father. But he’d been so eager to escape his father’s clutches just for a few hours. Since he had been home schooled.
Tatsuya looked slightly annoyed by the people Jaques wnated to associate with, it was their first day and already there were rumours -
“Watch out. Here comes trouble.” Vanessa sighed, noticing Jacques. “Relax. He probably won’t come over. We probably aren’t his typical choice for friends.” Daniel chuckled. Felix nodded, trying to avoid looking at the handsome pink haired boy that was above his current group of friends but was a huge risk to be around.

Jacques was in the cafeteria, scanning each table carefully before finally spotting Felix. Though Felix was looking away from him, Jacques had a protective arm around his new friend Tatsuya and he walked towards Felix's table with determination. He had a new group of friends with him, which made Jacques's heart ache a little.

Tatsuya didn’t look to happy about being near this group, but he carefully kept close to Jaques. Ready to attack if it came to it, tatsuya didn’t speak to anyone as they stood in front of the other boy’s tables. -
“Looks like he’s moved on.” Daniel chuckled. Felix looked in confusion and felt a twist of nausea and pain in his chest to see Jacques with another guy. “Good for him...” He muttered, staring at the table. “looks like your rival.” Vanessa added. “Doesn’t matter.” Felix muttered. “I think they look cute together!” Synthia chuckled. “Shut up!” Felix snapped before running out the cafeteria. “You forgot your lunch!” Daniel called in laughter. Felix muttered in anger as he came back to retrieve his meal before running off again.

"Verdammt!" Jacques cursed quietly as he saw Felix leaving. Jacques sped up a little, egging on Tatsuya to stay close. "Felix!" Jacques called once he got within hearing distance. He gained the looks of many students as they made their way, with Jacques winking at them when they past

Tatsuya ended up grabbing Jaques’ hand as a security blanket of sorts. But he was able to keep pace with him effortlessly. He looked at Felix with a scowl. “ troublesome.” He muttered.

Felix sighed and stopped in his tracks. Clearly he couldn’t run away from this. He had to face his troubles dead on. He sighed and shook his head. “Why? Looks like you’re moving on quite well. Why are you still bugging me?” Felix asked, admittedly harshly, but he needed this to end. “I’m a different person Jacques. I’m cunning, harsh, bold, trouble. I’m river dancing on the line between hero and villain. I’m tough, and have grown out of our friendship. I’m not the naive goofy soul that you want as your friend so leave me the hell alone! You already have a replacement and name for yourself, since you’re flirting with everyone, just forget you ever knew me because if we were to be friends now, I’d eat you for breakfast.” Felix lectured, the last line being true in a dirty way but he made it sound like a threat. -

"Oh really?" Jacques respondedly nonchalantly, in slight surprise. "I won't force a friendship on you that you no longer want.." Jacques trailed off with a frown. "But I do want to say, before I go, that I don't have a replacement. No one could replace you, Fee. I don't why you ever started distancing yourself from me but I care a lot about you, and caring for other people won't make me care for you any less," Jacques squeezed Tatsuya's hand slightly. He was trying to act cool, but his lip trembled slightly. "If that's what you really want, though.." Jacques started to turn away.
