Baptiste was awake on his phone. He didn't get much, if any, sleep last night. -

Baptiste made a small noise of surprise. He hopped off his bed and glanced at Alex. "...You okay?" he asked. -

He nodded -
"Alright." Baptiste said, not content with the answer but not going to pry any further. It had been a long night for Alex, he was sure. He plastered his regular smile onto his face as he walked down the stairs. "I'm up, I'm up..." he mumbled, sliding into the kitchen.

His phone was on the charger, at 48%. It was blowing up with messages, Franco yellinf at him for his absence. He had to attend school everyday, which he normally didn't mind. But, he just turned in his bed

Baptiste ate breakfast while scrolling through his phone, trying to distract himself. Sometimes, it was impossible to tell how Alex felt. That much was obvious from last night.
