"Willow, honey, drink some coffee, or at least eat something. You'll pass out keeping your spell up for long." Camilla advised. Heo chuckled and smiled when he saw Wolfe and Ruby. He held open the door for him and chuckled. "Luckily for you, I have no hair on my chinnie chin chin." He teased. "Hey Ruby! How are you?" He added with a charming smile. "Knock it off Heo, she's out of your league." Camilla chuckled. "Huh? What? Knock what off?" Heo asked, flustered and clueless. "Never mind." Camilla chuckled.
-
Wolfe put his hand on Heo's shoulder and said "Nice try, dude." and he walked to sit down next to Camilla. Ruby sat next to him. Wolfe asked "How is everyone today?" Ruby asked "Especially you, Willow"
-
Heo chuckled before returning to his piano. "I had the dream again last night." Camilla sighed. Camilla would always have the exact same dream whenever something big was about to happen. A dream of a lit bonfire crackling with life in a terrible rain storm. The sight of the vision told no truth, defied all laws of science and magic. The sight was beautiful, mysterious, magical, confusing, majestic, and chaotic all at the same time. The dream would never tell her, or give a clue as to what would happen. Simply that something big would. She had the dream before she inherited her grandmother's (father's side) cafe. She had it before Heo realized his gift for music. She had it before her mad broke in half, causing the mouth and chin section of her face to be revealed. And many more. Heo stopped playing and looked to her, knowing that this dream meant something would happen, but what was always the question.
-
"Why does everyone mother me..." Willow mumbled, not taking any of the advice given to him. He gave Camilla a worried look at her words of the dream. He knew what they meant; and the part that got him so anxious was that you could never tell whether it was a good or bad premonition.
-
Wolfe said "Oh no. I really hope something good happens this time."
Just then, the door was kicked open by someone else. It was Malefor, son of the Horned King and the angriest villain child of them all. He sat down by himself and just had black coffee. Ruby whispered to Wolfe "Look at what the cat dragged in." -
Willow glanced at Malefor and got up, walking over to the ordering counter to get some coffee. If he sat down for to long Malefor might notice him, and he wasn't the friendliest of villains.
-
"Be nice to my customers." Camila replied as she got the black coffee Malefor ordered. She didn't like Malefor much either, but coffee houses were invented to be a place where people could share opinions and theories as equals. Admiring that cause, Camila ran the place to serve people with good service no matter who they were or what her opinions were of them. "Another tiring morning Mal?" She asked.
-
Malefor said "You don't know the half of it. I think I've looked at that forsaken cauldron, kept the zombies in and listened to my father nag me from it forever. Why do I have to be punished for what he did?"
-
Willow turned around on his heel and went to go sit next to Wolfe and Ruby. Coffee could wait. Avoiding was now. "...How are you two?" He asked, not making eye contact with them.
-
"Believe me... I know how you feel... My mother punished my brother and I for what our father did. So I tried to become like her. It didn't work however... So now I'm working on finding out who I am." Camila replied. "So it may look bad now, but... Remember, you're in charge of your life. No one else can choose your fate." Camila told him.
-
Wolfe said "Just lonely, like always." Ruby said "Why do you always say that?" "Because, it's true. No one wants to be my friend." he answered. "Then who's everyone else?" Ruby asked.
Malefor said "Doesn't feel like it sometimes." -
Camila nodded. "I know exactly what you mean." She sighed as she wiped the counter.
"Come on dude! Camilla and I are certainly your pals!" Heo cheered, finishing up his song. -
"I thought I was your friend?" Willow said, tilting his head to the side slightly in question.
-
Wolfe said "I mean someone like the heroes. I tried giving the Three Little Pigs muffins the other day. Not one hour later, I saw them throw them away."
Malefor just continued to drink his coffee. -
"Oh." Willow responded, looking down at his hands. Most heroes wouldn't even look him in the eye, although he couldn't blame them. "I wish we were the good guys..." he mumbled under his breath. He heaved a sigh.
