Wolfe said "I understand." Ruby said "Hey, now that we fed the gators, what's the word on Malefor?"

Just then, the Shadow arrived and delivered each of their invitations. "I guess this would be it." He replied as he watched it zoom off.

The invite said "Attention esteemed villain kids. This is Malefor. I have sent you an invitation to join my villains court of advisors. Should you accept the invite, please bring this paper to my castle and we'll do an interview. If you don't accept, send the invite back and pretend you never got it. But be warned, in doing so you will be considered an enemy. Choose wisely and quickly. Free skeleton body paint for all members. Signed Emperor Malefor."

Willow read the invite silently. "...I guess we're going to visit Camilla." he mumbled.

(I thought of a way more interesting ship assuming we aren't shipping Willow and Lillian.)
"Malefor really doesn't like rejection does he?" Lillian asked. Heo chuckled and shook his head. "Lillian, you'll have to disguise yourself so that Malefor doesn't recognize you." Heo suggested. Lillian nodded and went inside. -

Wolfe said "Maybe, he just wants to be taken seriously." Ruby asked "How's that gonna help" at Heo's plan. -
(Maybe Malefor (who doesn't recognize Lillian when she disguises herself) falls for her? And Lillian is like: With all do respect, Emperor Malefor, you're insane. Then Malefor could be like: Then we're a perfect match. And so on so forth. Just a suggestion, it could also go Malefor falls for Camila and fights with Wolfe for her, but then again if Malefor is shipped with Lillian, he could also try to ship Wolfe and Camila so that he knows Camila will have a weakness if she breaks the deal.)

(I think I like Malefor being shipped with Lillian. And I was kinda planning on him shipping Wolfe and Camilla.)

"Well, I don't think Malefor knows Lillian that well. I have no idea if they've even been in the same room before. So if she changes her appearance just a little bit he'll probably just be scanning over the crowd and won't give much notice." Heo explained, this, again, being part of Camila's plan.
Lillian came out with sunglasses on to hide the obvious blindness and wore her hair loose and brushed back neatly. "I can tell him I'm Mother Gothel's orphaned child if he asks. I can say Camila met me living in the tower and felt my life could be improved by bringing that back." Lillian told Heo. "You should be fine." Heo assured her.
"I hope you don't plan to give every single villain every single thing they want." Camila sighed as she returned her shadow to the locket. "It could be a dangerous, chaotic, and vicious result if you do." She explained. -
Wolfe said "That's brilliant." Ruby said "No that's stupid. How are we sure Mother Gothel's actual child doesn't show up?"
Malefor said "Of course not. That's why I'm holding interviews. I only want five more people in this court. You and me are already two members." -
Camila nodded. "Good, I was concerned that you lost it, but that sounds reasonable." Camila replied in relief.
"Mother Gothel doesn't have a child, but Malefor doesn't know that. I only know because I know Repunzal, she was a friend of my mom's. I know Malefor hasn't met her though. She told me all about Mother Gothel, but never mentioned another girl being there." Lillian explained. "Why do you think I'd pick her specifically?" She added. -
Ruby said "I just figured it was the best you could think of. But you know, I always wondered why we never saw any one that looked like her." Wolfe asked "I wonder who else is accepting."
Malefor said "Trust me, I'm a lot smarter than I look. Alas, 10 people have already sent back their invites. One of which I was hoping would accept." He held a stack of returned invites and threw them away. He continued "In any case, I just hope everyone arrives soon. And we'll all rule the world."
