Skotadi stared at her for several seconds before dropping his gaze and staring at the ground "ok.

She signed bringing him a small cup of water and some bread

He hesitantly took the water from her, holding the cup close to himself as he slowly drank the water, glancing at her occasionally

She leaned against the wall , watching him cautiously

Skotadi slowly relaxed as he finished the water "thank you" he said quietly
