Who starts?
-
I guess I'll start.
-
I smiled as I looked out the window and packed my bags. Today, I was having a meeting with Arnold Manchester, the father of the woman I love. He has finally accepted my offer for a meeting to discuss letting me marry his daughter. I saved up a lot to pay Arnold in return for marrying that girl. This day, this gorgeous day, would be the best day of my life. After today, Blair Manchester would be mine.
-
I was watching TV downstairs and my father walked into the living in a dressy suit. I stared at him from head to toe, "Going somewhere, Papa?" I asked, looking back at the TV. I was currently watching the new thriller show called 'The Gifted'. Its been my favourite so far.
-
I closed my briefcase, smiling ear to ear. "Prepare a bedroom, and make dinner for two, for if everything works out today, I shall be bringing home a fianc." I cheered happily to Martha, one of my maids. Most rich men were terrible to their servers, and abused them for fun. I was practically raised by my parents servants though, so my servants were more my family than my blood relatives. "Congratulations and good luck sir!" Martha cheered. I smiled as I left the house and headed for my car. Today was certainly going to be wonderful! And the bright, clear sky seemed to agree.
-
"No. Someone's coming actually." He told me and I couldn't care less. I continued watching the TV as he went outside to our garden, sitting at the patio with mom.
-
I started the car and drove down the street, listening to the news. He made his buisness plan in his head as he drove down the street. He had five hundred thousand dollars in that brief case. First, he would make an offer for two hundred and fifty dollars in exhange for Brair's Hand. Her would probably ask for more, and he would negotiate until he brought up the much higher price, where her father would agree without question. This would go smoothly, and it would work. Or maybe he should simply just make no negotiation needed and offer the five hundred thousand up front. "We'll have to see what happens." Andrew decided, pulling into her driveway. He smiled as he got out of the car and walked over to her parents.

(Can u do the parents?)

(I'm sorry for late replies. I'm busy)
-
(Okay.)
(For now I will do it so that if you don't respond in ten minutes I'll post again.)
"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Manchester, I'm Andrew." Andrew greeted, shaking their hands. "Hello Andrew. Please, call my Kendra." Mrs. Manchester told him. "Thank you ma'am. It's a pleasure to meet you." Andrew cheered. "Shall we discuss my daughter now?" Mr. Manchester asked. I nodded happily and followed him inside. "Blair, would you be so kind as to head for your room?" Her father asked. -
(Oops, got carried away writing a story and forgot this system.)
I studied Blair, a charming grin on my face. I hoped she recognized me, I couldn't see her face, but I hoped she was happy to see me. Once Blair was in her room, they sat on the couch. "So, you're interested in my daughter's hand in marriage, yes?" Mr. Manchester asked. I nodded and set down my brief case. "Yes sir, and I'm willing to pay, let's say, five hundred thousand dollars?" I offered. His eyes went wide with surprise. "Now, Blair is worth far more, I know. However a lot of my money is going to go to making her life perfect." I told him with a smile. "Well, you drive a hard bargain. However I would like to talk about it with Blair before we continue." He sighed. "I would prefer her consent after all." He added. "Yes sir, I understand perfectly. I wouldn't want her to be unhappy with marrying me." I replied, now a bit worried. What if Blair was dead set against marrying me? -
Mr. Manchester walked up the stairs and knocked gently on the door of his daughter's room. "Blair? May I come in?" Mr. Manchester asked, waiting by his daughter's door. He prayed that she would be happy with the engagement, for he would have to accept it whether she did or not.
-
I opened up the door, "Hey papa." I greeted and gestured for him to come in.
-
"Hello dear." Her father replied with a large smile. He walked in and sat down on a chair in her room, gesturing for her to sit on the bed. "I have some exciting news." He told her, hoping his daughter would find the news to be good news.
-
I sat down on the bed as he told me to and stared at him with excitement, "What's the good news?"
