Leah:
"Hey Ashton! You're late!" I teased. "We were checking out the new girl. Bethlee went to introduce herself." Liam chuckled as we entered the school, waiting for Ashton. -
As I headed into the school, I kept my head low and my eyes on the ground. I started to feel like I was invisible. But that didn't last for long, a girl appeared by my side, introducing herself. That's when I looked up and saw a few eyes were on me. I turned quickly to look at the girl beside me, and blinked twice like a robot, registering everything she just said. My eyes shifted to her hands sticking out for a friendly shake, before looking back up at her. Being the weirdo I am, I squinted my eyes and eyed her suspiciously, "How do you know my name?" I asked, looking at her from head toe, then went back to eyeing her.
-
Bethlee:
"Do you believe in the Matrix Eve?" I asked in a serious voice. After a moment of awkrawd silence, I chuckled. "Just kidding. My best friend's mom is friends with your Aunt. So she told us you were starting here." I explained, giving a friendly smile. -
"Ohh." I nodded at her explanation. My lips curved into a small smile and I gladly took her hands, "Well, then, its nice to meet you," I said, shaking her hand gently, "Bethlee."
-
I looked around and found Bethlee and the new girl, "New girl's a looker isn't she." I said with a slight laugh and followed them into the building. "Bethlee don't scare her too much." I said voice calm and stoic like.
-
Liam:
I chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, that she is." Leah agreed and we both chuckled. "Should we go talk to her too?" I asked.
Bethlee:
I blushed slightly when our hands touched and smiled. "If you don't know anyone here, you're welcome to sit with me and my friends at lunch." I told her with a smile. "Would you like me to help you find your homeroom?" I added as I studied her. I looked up when I heard Ashton's voice and smiled, waving my friends over.
Leah:
"Looks like she's waving us over." I told Liam and Ashton. Liam smiled and we walked over to join them. "These are my friends, Liam, Leah, and Aston." Bethlee introduced, gesturing to Liam, then me, then Ashton. "Nice to meet you!" Liam cheered, offering his hand to shake with a charming smile. "Welcome to our world!" I chuckled with a friendly smile, waving my arms dramatically, causing Bethlee and Liam to chuckle at me. -
-
I sighed in relief when she offered to help look for my homeroom because I can't all by myself, "Oh, yes please. Thank you." I smiled at her. I adjusted my bag over my shoulder as she waved her friends over. She introduced them and I waved each one of them, saying "Hi!" Repeating the same expression. "I'm Evelyn." She told them and accepted Liam's handshake, "Nice to meet you too, Leam." She immediately corrects herself and apologizes, "Sorry, I meant Liam!" She giggled.
-
Liam:
I chuckled, feeling a jolt of electricity when our hands touched. Her hands were soft and warm, and their small slim shape fit in my strong hand perfectly. I could tell they fit in Leah's slim hands perfectly as well as Leah shook her hand. I smiled at Evelin and shrugged. "It's Alright." I told her with a charming smile. "So what number is your homeroom?" Bethlee asked her. -
(Uh, what if she hadn't gotten her schedule yet so she doesn't know her homeroom number?)
-
(Will that be okay?)
-
Leah:
"Room 54 Probably. That's where all the grade elevens have their homeroom this year." I told Bethlee, knowing the girl didn't have a schedule. "I'll take you there, since it's my home room as well." I told Evelyn with a smile as I studied her, offering her my hand. -
(Tankyu!)
"Um ok." I responded to Leah, "Bye guys!" I waved at the other three and turned to follow Leah. I realised she wanted me to take her hands. First, I thought it would be awkward since we just met. But then again, they all seemed really friendly.
I realized I was spending too much time thinking about it, so I just took her hands and followed her. -
Leah:
I smiled as she took my hand and pulled her through the crowd. Finally, someone my age to hang out with! I was really, really looking forward to spend time with this girl.
Liam:
"Okay. I think it's obvious we all like her. I'm calling an early meeting at my house tonight. We need to discuss this." I told Ashton and Bethlee. "Make sure to tell Leah later." I added to Bethlee as we walked to class. Bethlee nodded and went to her class. -
*Time Skip to Lunch*
Leah:
Having a different second period class than Evelyn, we had to part ways after first. I packed my bags quickly when the bell rang for lunch, excited to see Evelyn again. Bethlee was clearly excited as well. "By the way, Liam says we are having a meeting tonight about the new girl." Bethlee told me as we left the class. "I wonder who will be the winner..." I sighed, wondering if Evelyn would even be interested in girls.
Liam:
I sighed with relief and quickly packed my bags when class ended. The blondes from outside quickly blocked my path. "We heard you moved to a new house by the lake." One of them told me enthusiastically. "That must be so romantic!" Another sighed as if she was already turned on. I rolled my eyes at the girls. "Excuse me ladies. I don't have an appetite for you, but I do have one for lunch." I told them. Two of them looked disappointed and the other one looked disgusted as they moved out of my way. I sighed as I walked down the hall, regaining my cool as I entered the cafe.
Bethlee:
I waved to Liam who was already sitting down. "I'm starving!" I groaned, grabbing food from my lunch box. Leah chuckled at me and rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna go make sure the new girl can find her way here." Leah decided, leaving before we could say we wanted to.
Leah (again.):
I walked down the halls, a smirk on my lips as I studied the crowd. I saw a blonde girl looking annoyed with her day. I had to. I just had to. I walked up to her, faking a worried expression, and turned her around. "Uh... Hey, Carla? Did you know there's a spider in your hair? And one of those big ones too...." I told her with a worried voice and a forced look of concern. "There's a what in my Where!?!" She demanded, running down the halls screaming while I cackled like a lunatic. "Alright, Alright. That was fun. Now, back on task." I cheered with a grin, continuing my search for the new girl as I walked to her second period. I smiled when I finally saw her and walked over.
