Kylie blushed and nodded, keeping an eye on Taegi.
-
Taegi didn't seem to like the program, she got out a book from her bag and handed it to Kylie, looking at her with her big round and adorable eyes. The book is a princess one with vivid colors and images.
-
Kids Are Friends. Not food. Kylie reminded herself as she studied the corny princess book. "You want me to read you a story?" Kylie asked in a gentle voice.
-
Taegi bobbed her head up and down.
-
(You're making me laugh magie stawwwp)
-
(Lol! XD)
(I like being funny because I am rarely funny. But when I am funny, oh ho ho. I'm funny XD)
Kylie opened the book and came up with a... More creative way to tell the story.... She read the beginning of the story the way it was written, then changed it up a bit. "The Knight in shining armour managed to escape the dragon's clutches and ran to the tallest room, of the tallest tower. He fixed his hair, made a dramatic pose, and popped a tic tac into his mouth before kicking open the locked door to find the beautiful princess-" Kylie paraphrased, telling the story very well and pausing for dramatic effect. -
ChubbyBunny NoviceTaegi's eyes widened as she waited for her to continue the story.
-
"The princess was gone." Kylie finally released. "The night rushed to the window, where a rope made of sheets was helping the princess climb down. The knight was promised the Princess's hand in marriage in return for her rescue, so to stopt her from running away, the Knight began to pull up the rope, slowly dragging the princess back up the wall. The princess, who didn't love the Knight, for he was a stranger, and therefore did not want to marry him, had to think quickly. She began swinging on the rope made of sheets, and was able to swing to a lower window. She grabbed onto it, and climbed into the window, running out of the room and down the castle walls while the knight realized she had escaped the rope." Kylie continued, deciding to pu some feminism in the story.
-
"The End?!" Taegi asked.
-
"Not quite. The princess still had to escape the tower, now with the dragon on the bottom floor and the knight at the top, she had a lot of challenge. The princess heard the dragon coming and ran into a room that the dragon couldn't fit in. The dragon tried to get its large, toothy jaw through the door of the room, but was unable. The princess then began to sing a lullaby, calming the dragon as she placed a hand on its snout. The dragon let her out of the room before continuing its fight with the knight, allowing her to escape. Finally, the princess took the Knight's horse and rode him over the hills, across the rickety bridge, and back into her kingdom. Recognized for her bravery, she was allowed to marry the fiddler who she truly loved, and everyone lived happily, ever, after. Except of course the knight, who was dragon chow. The end." Kylie concluded, closing the book with a smile.
-
"Wow! I'd like to be like the princess when I grow up!" Taegi cheered, "And ride on horses too!" She jumped up and her feet left the ground, she looked up to see Jackson was the one who lifted her up, "Woah there!"
"Ya hungry little kid?" He asked her and she bobbed her head up and down. "Yeeee~ lets go have lunch now." Jackson says yo both her and Kylie.
Jackson helped her up onto a chair. Their lunch already sitting in front of them. Utensils and everything.
"Mac and Cheese!" she yells in her high pitched voice, taking her plastic spoon and digging in. Jackson laughed and sat next to her. -
Kylie smiled, eating her Mac and cheese. "I think my faith is restored that I'll be able to be a good mom one day. Turns out, you don't have to read the corny stories that give girls damaging delusions of what their lives should be like to be a good mom. You can tell them actually entertaining and healthy thinking stories and they love that too!" Kylie cheered to Jackson.
-
Jackson laughs a bit, not wanting to cough and die this time. So he stays silent and eat
Once Taegi finishes up her bowl of pasta and juice she begins to rub her eyes, indicating that she's becoming tired. Little kids need naps, after all, they are still growing and only have so much energy.
Jackson picks up Taegi and wipes her hands and face off, preparing her for her nap.
"I'm going to put her down for a nap," he tells Kylie, walking away to a bedroom seconds later. -
Kylie nodded and smiled. She scanned the hall for an Umbrella basket to see if there was an umbrella she could use later. There was a dark blue ubrella that would be perfect for imitating Mary Poppins. She put it back, deciding she would get it later, and returned to the table.
-
On the dining table, Jackson had left the pictures he took in the photo booth with Kylie and a bottle of glue. He definitely thought it was fridge worthy but it seems he forgot to do it.
