I smiled into the kiss, knowing we both were enjoying it.
-
I pulled away and looked down to avoid staring at him. My brain was back on listing things I loved about him. "Had Mac and cheese for lunch I assume?" I asked him, knowing the only weapon left in my Arsenal was to embarrass him.
-
I didn't say anything. I simply looked ahead and started walking. She found one of my weaknesses. I don't mind that. But... She used it against me...
-
(Mac and cheese is his weakness? Good to know.)
They arrived to the house. The house was tall and narrow. It was a black house with old fashioned windows and a pretty sturdy roof. Her mother used to own the house. Since no one knew she was dead, no one had taken the house away yet. However I could never bare to go inside it because of the memories inside. Luckily the door was red with a silver handle. So you couldn't see the blood stain on the door from when her at the time injured mother leaned against it. -
Hey, there's blood on this door. My uncle has the same shade of red for his wall. We usually wrestle whenever I'm over. I help clean up the blood. But, I said nothing to Rita. She probably didn't know. I should leave it like that
-
"I usually hang out in the tornado shelter." I told Tyler, coming up with an explanation as to why I didn't stay in the house. "It's closer to my future kingdom." I told him my excuse with a smirk.
-
"So why are we at the front door? Let's go!" I spoke with excitement. I think I know where it is, so I took Rita's hand and ran to the side of the house
-
I smiled and followed him, glad he didn't ask too many questions or seem confused or awkward. I opened up the shelter when we reached it. The shelter was lightened up by many cristmas lights, lava lamps, and a large lantern. The floor was covered with a couple of old mattresses which were covered with many different kinds of blankets and pillows. There were some cupboards at 5he end which were filled with books. There was also a large plank of wood resting against the wall which I used as a table now and then.
-
I looked around, examining everything. It was so cool.
-
I smiled as he looked around and took off my shoes before climbing in. I crawled over to the blue mini fridge and put my left overs from lunch either in the fridge or in the cupboards. I hesitated before waving for him to come in, wondering if there was enough room to avoid being close to him in here.
-
I took off my shoes as well, and closed the hatch on my way in. I just sat there, unsure what to do
-
I sat on the mattresses and decided that they were close, but not too close. I laced down on the mattress and studied the lights tangled around the ceiling.
-
I just sat on the floor.
-
(*layed, not laced.)
I looked at him and couldn't help but study him. "I lo-" I almost blurted, but caught myself. What was I about to say!?! I haven't loved anyone since... Well... A long time ago. "I love hanging out in here." I finished to avoid suspicion, hoping he didn't notice my skin blush in the dim lighting. -
"Yeah, it is pretty cool. You really made it shine" I smiled at Rita "Don't worry. No one shall know"
