D.Y.O.A is a game that is like a space age, virtual reality Dungeons and Dragons. At least that's what C1's best friend C2 told him when they bought the game from a stranger in the street. C1's sibling C3 decides to play with them. C3's best friend C4 and C4's sibling, C1's crush, C5 come to play as well.
Once they design their specious of alien and write back stories, personalities, and home worlds for their characters, plan a story line for the game, design a ship, villainous specious, and put the helmets on, they are sucked into the game. Now the five friends must play the story line they created, as the characters they created. There are also many cut scenes in the game where their character's personalities take over. Here is the storyline they wrote:
An Alien specious called the Zayks are creating a black market business that kidnaps children and grows them to be slaves to sell once they are adults. It's the Starship D.Y.O.A's mission to intercept parties where slaves are bid, catch kidnapper's attention to intercept slavery camps, and hopefully put an end to the Zayk's goals. However, the five friends only have three lives to complete the game's detailed storyline. Can they do it? Game. Set. Match. -

Personality: Kind, curious, nosey, adventuress, cocky, bold, speaks her mind, sassy, and rebellious. She is very outgoing and loves to take risks. She secretly has low self esteem and honestly doesn't care if she dies or not. She just wants to live life to the fullest!
Likes: Dancing, singing, making herself look pretty, flirting, and music.
Dislikes: Junk food, laziness, limits, rules, and restrictions.
Fears: Being trapped, small spaces, and people turning against her.
Desires: To trust someone completely.
Other: Her father tried to poison her heart when she was little. She had to get a new one to survive. Her mother has always been extremely protective of her, and Dana has had trust issues ever since. She can't trust anyone. Not even her sibling.

Personality: witty, charming, seductive, quick thinking, confident, outgoing, picky, classy, kind hearted, and generous. Most people don't realize this because of the way they disapprove of her. But she is very selfless. She would risk a life time of happiness, love, and wealth just to make one persons life better for a few minutes.
Likes: Helping people, romance, listening to other people talking, smiles, the sounds people make, and reading.
Dislikes: Talking, making decisions, seeing other people get hurt, and yelling.
Fears: Having to say something important, making a life or death decision, sacrificing others to save herself, giving speeches, watching torchure, and killing.
Desires: Love, peace, and joy for others. For herself, she desires someone who she can do anything for.
Powers: She can absorb radiation, energy, poisons, chemicals, toxins, and harmful substances to use later. She also has super strength and can shape shift. In her octohumanoid form, she has increased senses, can breath under water, super speed, and sharp nails/teeth.
Weaknesses: If she holds in anything absorbed for a long time, or holds in too much, she will become very ill. It is also very painful for her to talk because of a reason her bio will explain.
Weapon of choice: A sword.
Bio: She feels a lot of pain while talking because when she was little she absorbed a lot of power to save her family from nukes that attacked her home town. The energy caused an illness that burned in Rosemary's throat. Her mother healed the illness. And the throat healed over time. However her vocal cords are very weak. It would be very painful if she broke them. -

Powers: Flight, can fire poison stings out of his tail, claws can cut through steel

Bio: His planet was under the tyrannical control of the Unganauts, savage, war mongering pig-like aliens. He was only 5 when he was to work in the mines. Someone in the adult workforce had enough and made an uprising. He was enlisted and he helped his speices drive off the Unganauts and get the freedom the Bugfaces needed. Now he circles the cosmos looking for planets that might be in a simular situation. -

Personality: outgoing and kind hearted, doesnt let anything get him down. he loves helping others and often will go out of his way to help his friends if they need it

Gender: doesnt actually have a gender, and kinda flip flops between male and female. Ink dosnt really care what you call them though

Personality: Ink is very wild card. Ink doesnt actually have any emotions of their own, so they need to drain them from the people around them. This make it very had for Ink to balance themselves, and often results in some very strange reactions to things. Most of the time they come off as childish or rude, depending on the person. If they run out of emotions they will become cold and uncaring
Likes: painting, flyng, stars, creating things
Dislikes: Being alone, empty spaces, being teased
Fears: Being forgotten/alone
Desires: A perfect world where no one is afraid
Powers: Ink is a Creater, meaning that they are able to bring the things they draw in to the 'real world'( -
