I've posted this before, but it didn't get too far..)
Four students are in a book club. They are currently reading a murder mystery. They are each about halfway through the book. After a meeting at one of the club member's house, they all go home.
Eventually, they fall asleep during the night.
The club members soon find themself in a dream, where they are each the characters of the book they're reading.
In the book, an innocent girl named Charlotte was murdered. They're had been many killings after and it is suspected to be by the same killer. Charlotte was a friend of C1 and C2. She was C3' s girlfriend. Charlotte was hated by C4. C1, C2, and C3 believe that C4 is the serial killer, but maybe C4 isn't..? Maybe it was one of the others...?
The club members can not escape the dream until they solve the mystery. So who did it? Who killed Charlotte?
I get that this plot may seem a bit confusing, so if you have any questions, just ask. The character sheets apply to their real selves outside of the dream. The only thing different would be their relationship with Charlotte or their backstory could be as well. )

Appearance: a little below shoulder length black hair, blue eyes, fair skin

Personality: fun-loving, bubbly, a bit timid, charming, relaxed
Backstory: Charlotte was seven years old when her father died in a car accident, a few years later, her mother remarried. She didn't know her husband was going to be an abusive father to her daughter. Charlotte's step-father would beat her and hit her when she did something he did not like. This lasted for a couple years. During this time, Charlotte was very depressed and not as she used to be. When her Mother found out what was going on, she divorced the man. Soon, Charlotte reverted to her happy self. She had many friends and was even in a relationship, but one night in her bedroom, she was shot by a darl figure...
Likes: She liked watermelon scented candles, baggy sweaters, choker necklaces, and charm bracelets
Dislikes: Her use to be step-father, bullying, being hurt, seeing others hurt, and chocolate
Other: She had a Teddy bear she would carry around in her backpack named Twigs

Backstory: Kya never had many friends, but she was okay with it. She found many ways to entertain herself as a child, but when she reached highschool, it wasn't the same. She was very stressed, but had no one to comfort her. That's when she met Charlotte, who also introduced her to C2. Charlotte changed her life for the better.
Likes: Gummy candy, writing, drawing, music, puppies, and Ice cream
Dislikes: Sandwhiches, cleaning, blood, and loud noises
