Angelica looked at the girl as she stood beside her and noticed some of her clothes were blood stained as well. She looked away, then looked at the gods. Anubis stepped forward. "Floyd, you're with Hades. Angelica, your with me. We will train you separately, due to the Egyptian verses the Greecian way of doing things, but...when you get out to the world and reap souls, you must work together as one unit." he said, his voice holding an aura of seriousness about. Hades motioned Floyd out of the room and into another.
-
Floyd nodded, and followed as instructed. She walked alongside the god to double doors. There was an old-fashioned door knock. Hades lifted the plated and chipped iron, then let it fall. The door opened, and they stepped in.

Mom!

The girls stayed in training for over a month. They both attended their funerals. The turnout was more than they expected, but it didn't matter to them. Each day they would train with different enemies and obstacles. Even though their 'job' seemed to be easy, they learned it would be everything but.

"Hey! Jadeyn! Watch out!" Flloyd watched as a boy got hit by a bus. She wasnt so sure what to do. She walked over, and as soon as the guy's spirit appeared, with its eyes closed, she stuffed it into a bag and carried him to the underworld. There was about 1000 other souls in there, and that was not that much.
-
Angelica had been place in Paris, France. She was already there, and Anubis had made her look like an actual human. She was still a spirit, but she could be seen. This was the first time she had ever done this, and she wasn't sure that she liked it, but those emotions were mellowed out by the pure sheer thought of her being able to please the Egyptian god somehow. Maybe if she got enough souls he would actually crack a smile once in a while. When she first met him, he seemed nice and laid back, but now, everything was different. He was focused on battling it out with Hades it seemed. She looked at the street corner and stood there, waiting for what, she knew, but she pretended that she didn't . It was best to pretend now since she took her life all those months ago. Soon enough, a red Venturi pulled up to her, and a man rolled down his window.
"Hey, you need a ride." he said, looking at her. She just nodded and stepped inside, know that isn't the only thing on his mind, but she had a job, and she had to get it done. If all went well, the man wouldn't even make it to the next street corner. This caused Angelica to smile. The man looked over at her. "My name is Acel." he said, his accent stronger than she would have thought. "Angelica." she mumbled, playing with the frayed ends of the holes in her jeans. This was going to get nowhere, but he started driving, and a song blasted on the radio. It was a tune she was familiar with. One she played all of the time when she was alive, but for the life of her, she couldn't remember the name. The man pressed the gas pedal and glanced over one of the nearby shops.
Angelica saw her chance and took it, grabbing the steering wheel, causing the car to crash horrendously at a light post. Angelica quickly teleported out of the car, now in her spirit form, wearing the same clothes she had when she had died. She looked at the man in the front seat of the car. He had blood rushing from a wound in his forehead, but he was close to death, so he couldn't be saved. Angelica muttered some words and a scythe appeared beside her. She grasped in tightly in her hand, till her knuckles turned white. She stood there for a few moments more before the man's last breath finally exited his body. When it did, his spirit came out like a black mass, and Angelica swung at it, missing at it tried to dart away. She ran after it, the scythe weighing her down. "Taeal 'iilaa huna!" she said with force, and the spirit struggled, but eventually came to her, disappearing into a black cloth bag.
She didn't recall how many souls she had caught, but knowing Anubis, it wasn't enough. She closed her eyes, and Paris dissolved around her. When she opened them again, she was in the same spot she had been months ago. In Hades' Grand Hall. "Well, isn't this lovely." she said, walking over to the throne and sitting down. Hades would kill her if he saw this. All the training that she had with Anubis trained her to hate Hades, so even if he did, it would be worth it. -
Flloyd had her own room. It had class, while still scruffy. The embers from the lit fire place danced in her eyes. The bear rug she sat on was so soft and made her feel like she was important. The head of a goat hung above the mantle, and she wasn't sure what to think of it. She got up, and sat down on a couch. The frame was dark oak, much like her special stick from when she was alive. The coushins themselves were made of red velvet leather, with cross-stichting for the seams. She layed down, staring at the porcalain ceiling. Hades had given specific orders to take no more than 30 minute breaks, but she wanted to enjoy the room. She looked around for anyone, then reached under the rug. She pulled out a photo. Are soul reapers allowed to love? Flloyd wondered. She stared at the picture until she heard a knock on the door. Under the rug it went, and she raced for the door.
-
Angelica stood there as Floyd opened the door. She look at the other girl with a slight smile on her face, observing the room behind her. "Um, do you know where I could find Anubis?" she said, looking back at the bag behind her. "I need to make a brief deposit."
-
"Oh, uh.. No." Flloyd looked at the bag "You dont warp the souls to the chambers?" She shook her head, then looked at Angelica "Come in, come in. Its not quite my style, but nobody really liked my style."
-
Angelica stepped into the room, noticed that fireplace and smiled. It was cozy, but a little extravagant for her. "No, we don't warp the souls. Anubis goes through a long excruciating process, but at least he is content with the soul count." she said, adjusting the bag over her shoulder. It was getting slightly heavy for a bag of souls, but she didn't mind. "How exactly do you 'warp souls'?"
-
"Simple. Do you know the story of Percy Jackson? And how the lightning bolt warped into his back pack at a certain point?" Flloyd said as she went to the rug and laid, motioning for Angelica to join "Well, the chambers are the backpack and the souls are the lightning bolt"
-
-
Angelica sat next to Floyd, keeping her hands wrapped tightly around the bag. If she let the souls get out, she would never hear the end of it from Anubis, and that was the last thing that she needed. "I have heard of Percy Jackson. Who doesn't know who he is?" she said, trying to stiffle a giggle. She looked around the room, realizing this was the first time that she had ever been alone with Floyd. Usually Hades or Anubis were there, studying their moves like hawks, acting as if the two girls were prey.
-
"Y'know, we don't really talk. And I'm curious." Flloyd sighed as she turned her body, so she was facing upwards "Tell me where you're from. What you did for hobbies. Were you popular? How was your life?" She waited eagerly for an answer, even though she had just asked.
-
Angelica looked at the girl for a moment, wondering if she could tell her about herself. They were alone here, and the only other companions they had were Hades and Anubis. Sometimes Anubis let Angelica see Ammit, but he could be pretty terrifying at times, so she tended to stay away. "Um, I'm from a school called Lakeside. It wasn't very big. The town I lived in was small, so that made the population of students even smaller. I didn't like it much. I would get bullied at school. Not a lot, just enough to feel the pressure of high school life in a sense." she said, thinking back to the times where kids would make fun of her and call her names. There was even one time, a kid slammed her into a brick wall and knocked her left front tooth back slightly. "School, no matter how it was, was a break from home. I never liked home much." Angelica looked up at the ceiling and sighed.
"I never was popular in school. Sure, I was seen as smart and likable, but that didn't stop the countless charades and acts people pulled to be my friend." she looked over at Flloyd and crossed her arms loosely above her chest. "What about you?" she asked.
