Jenna's smile faded as she felt a bit tense. "I... I like Wendy..." Janna admitted, tucking her hair behind her ears.

Jason said "And that's what I was afraid of. Because I like you."

Jenna's eyes opened in surprise as she looked at him. "Wait... Really?" Jenna asked. She then thought over many times with her and Jason where she had thought of him as nothing more than a brother or good friend. She then blushed with embarrassment and covered her face. "Oh god." She blurted.

"It's fine. Truth be told I miss my mom. Though she abused us after our dad left" he said softly , mentally shouting at himself to shut up

"It's Okay." Barry assured him with a smile. "What would you like as a drink.?" Barry asked, wanting to help him cheer up.

"Pepsi " he saud

Jason said "Yea really. I do really like you." Jason blushed and said "Every time I saw you on the stage in the bakery, I always thought you were beautiful. I've tried a few time to tell you and I never had the nerve. Not until now."

When the waitress came, Barry ordered a Pepsi for Connor and an apple juice for himself.

Jenna put down her arms and studied him as he spoke. Suddenly she felt odd. Not fluttery and nervous like she did around Wendy. But, something else. She took in a deep breath and walked closer to Jason. Perhaps her surprise made a spark somehow as she held his hand. "You really think I'm beautiful?" She asked as she studied him.

Jason blushed even more and said "Of course I do. And you have a beautiful voice, both when your singing and talking."
Unknown to either of them, Wendy was listening through the door. -

(At the beginning of the conversation, that's very shocking and uncomfortable for her. Now at the end, it's a bit devastating. Poor Wendy. This is going to be quite the conversation when they go back in.)
Jenna took a deep breath before kissing Jason on the cheek. Whatever spark was there stayed and Jenna blushed gently. She wasn't sure what to say as she waited for a response. -
(Yeah, but she is only listening, she can't see anything. All she heard was Jason's confessional. You are right though, she'll be devastated)
Jason didn't say anything and just blushed completely till his entire face was red. -
Jenna smiled at him. "You're pretty cute." She blurted, blushing as she tucked her hair behind her ears.
