Wednesday looked back down, her vision blurred from tears. She didn't notice that she'd moved, but she did notice that the screaming fans were gone. She tried to compose herself, but she couldn't help but cry a little more. She'd hurt her best friend. She'd taken his love for granted and she only realised now. She'd even manage to piss Sammy off. What was wrong with her? The only person she could turn to right now was...
Min-Joon... -
Min-joon silently watched her from behind the tree. He was about to make a move, to give her the comfort she needed. Just as he took a step, Wednesdays phone rang. He retreated that step immediately.
-
Wednesday jumped at the sudden noise. She gingerly picked up her phone and nearly broke down in tears.
It was Mark.
"Mark?" Wednesday whispered, although there was nobody else there. -
(If it was Sammy she can be talking on Marks phone)
-
"Wednesday..." Mark cried into the phone, "Can we meet? At the amusement park?" He asked, "Dont turn down this simple request, Wednesday, I beg of you."
Min-joon heard. -
(It was really Mark )
-
(Lol just thought I'd check xx)
"Yes yes yes of course we can!" Wednesday was so relieved she nearly cried. "I'll be there in about twenty minutes." -
Mark smiled, like she could see him and then said, "Ok." Before hanging up.
Min-joon was slightly pissed, so he decided to come out from his hiding place and act like he was just passing by. You know, in case she MIGHT need his help going there. Haha! Very funny, Min-joon -
Wednesday looked over to Min-Joon. "MIN-JOON!!" She squealed, running over to him. She squeaked the phone conversation to him and was super hyped. "But... I left my car at the cleaners. Can you take me?" Wednesday asked nervously, looking at Min-Joon with puppy eyes.
-
Min-Joon gave her a cold stare, her puppy eyes were clearly having an effect on him. He quickly looked away at a different direction, "Uh, yeah sure. I'll take you." He started walking, not turning to see if she was coming. He had a stupid grin plastered on his face.
-
Wednesday skipped after Min-Joon, proud of her puppy eyes. When they reached the car, Wednesday hopped in and smiled a big smile, very, very excited to see Mark.
-
Min-joon rolled his eyes at her behaviour, he got into the car and started the engine.
-
Wednesday's smile quickly faded. What if Mark wanted to meet her to, like, shout at her? What if he hurts her? What if he ends their friendship? What if he-
"I can't do it." Wednesday stated. She'd pushed herself into the corner and her hands were in her hair. She looked to Min-Joon, a frightened, broken look in her eyes.
"I can't!" She repeated, her eyes glazing over with tears. -
Min-joon grabbed her arm before she could start thrashing around and yelling "I can't".
He then slowly intertwined their fingers and giving her a slight squeeze.
What are you doing, Min?
"You have to go. If you don't go, he's going to live a life of regret." Min-joon said, matter-of-factly. Because if Wednesday didn't show up, Mark would think that she decided to spend time with hot-guy instead of him. Min-joon knew this because he studied Mark earlier when he came over to Wednesdays place: His eyes boiled with jealousy. Min-joon could see it. -
Wednesday nodded and calmed down as she traced her thumb along Min-Joon's knuckles. "Thank you. You're right." She looked up at Min-Joon through her wet lashes, her head mixing adoration with relief.
