Becky heard footsteps pass her, but she was stuck in her daydream to look and see who it was. Probably just someone turning in their story anyway, she figured in the end. She was currently in the middle of dreaming about going to the School's annual spring dance that was approaching rather quickly. It was just a month and a half away, and people had already been talking about it around the school since before winter break. She knew she wouldn't be able to go, let alone find someone to go to it with her. But she could dream about it, can't she?
She hoped that one day these dreams would become a reality. Praying to god to let someone come and help her out. -
"Yes. I'll be here tomorrow to read it to the class. Now can I leave?" Cole asked, rolling his eyes. "You're going to have to edit this. Make it more appropriate." She told him. "It is appropriate. It has a happy ending." Cole argued. "Change the language, and make Jesus sound less like you." The teacher told him. "Okay. One, What language? French, Spanish, German? Second, Jesus is like me. His mom cheated on his father to get pregnant with him. So she told everyone that he was God's kid to avoid being judged for adultery. Jesus had unpopular beliefs and had many friends. He drank with his friends until they run out of alcohol, then he made more using water. Jesus even tricked his friends into thinking he could walk on water. He was probably walking on the Dead Sea." Cole told her. The teacher sighed and stood up. "Quit being a smart ass." The teacher told him. "Miss. Watch your language." Cole replied before returning to his seat.
-
Becky was brought out of her dreaming when she heard someone seeming to argue with the teacher, so she lifted up her head to see who it was. Adjusting her glasses on her nose, as they had slipped a bit, she saw the well-known badass, as some may say, Cole up there. But when she had noticed who it was, they had stopped and he was back on his way to his seat in the back. "I wish I could be more like him.." she mumbled to herself as she stared St him. He didn't seem afraid to speak his mind from what she had seen, and he seemed to be so free. Unlike her.
"Five minutes...then I'm back to prison.." she said, and sighed loudly. She loved her family, but they were too protective of her. -
After the bell rang, Cole walked outside. Cole watched Beth from behind as he walked with the crowd outside. The Spring Dance is in like, a month. You'll have lots of time to ask her. Cole assured himself. He walked past her as sh3 waited for her bus. Cole placed his helmet on and strapped it before checking his motorcycle to make sure everything was in check.
-
The bell rang and as usual, Becky found herself standing in the line waiting to get on the bus to take her home to her family. Well, her mother at first anyway, seeing as her father would be at the hospital at work at this time of course. She sighed, and looked around to the perking lot. Her eyes locking onto one, a boy who was checking a motorcycle which she recognized to belong to Cole. She smiled at the sight, as she stood there. Thinking about what it would be like to ride a motorcycle, how it would feel.
-
Cole climbed onto his motorcycle and smiled when he saw Beth staring at him. An idea flashed in Cole's mind as he reved his engine. He drove around the busses in a zig zag then drove around the block. He reved the engine as he returned to the school and pulled to a park next to Beth. "Want a ride?" He asked, smiling at her as he reved the engine. "Unless of course you'd rather take the bus." He added.

Night, for now)
Becky was surprised when Cole stopped beside of her on his motorcycle, and more when he asked if she wanted a ride. Should she? She knew him...well sort of, she knew his name. He wasn't a complete stranger, after all. Without hesitation, she quickly nodded her head in the end and approached where he was at. She stared a bit in confusion, before slowly climbing on behind him and wrapping her arms securely.
'Oh, dear god.. This must still be a dream, right? I'm gonna be in deep trouble if I'm late...' she thought nervously. -
Cole smiled as he felt her arms wrap around him. "Hold on tight." He told her, driving off. He steered down the road on his motorcycle and zipped through the traffic. "So, Becky is it? Where do you live?" Cole asked, smiling as he felt her breath against his neck and her heart beat against his back.
-
Becky nodded and held on tightly as they moved, not wanting to fall off. That would hurt, she knew. She gave him her address, where she lived, as she felt the air past by around them. She opened her eyes and watched as they rode on as well. Even if for a bit, she felt free right now.
-
Cole smiled and made a UTurm since they were going the wrong way. He held onto her arms as they zipped around so that she wouldn't fall from the rush of air. Cole then continued to zip his way through the traffic and he drove around the corner down her street. Cole then pulled into her parking lot and parked his motorcycle. "Here we are." He told her, taking off his helmet and smiling at her.
-
-
Becky smiled to him as she got off of the motorcycle, her bag on her back. She starred at him and nodded. "Thank you for the ride." she said to him as she stood there. "I'll...see you tomorrow." she said as she began to step bavj.
-
This is your chance! Ask her! Cole thought. "No problem. If you want me to take you anywhere, just ask." He told her. "The library, home, school," He listed. "The Eiffel Tower, Even to your weird cousin Allan if you have one." Cole joked with a chuckle as he put the helmet back on. "Or maybe even... I don't know. The spring dance?" He asked, the helmet hiding his blushing but not his charming smile.
-
Becky stopped backing up and stared at him, not believing wag she heard at the end. He would take me to the dance? But then...I can't. They won't let me. she thought as she stood there staring back at Cole. "I-I would love to." she began, stuttering a bit as she spoke. "But...I can't." she finished, looking down to the ground.
-
Cole felt a jolt of surprise and glee when she said she would love to, but it faded slightly when she said she couldn't. "Why not?" Cole asked. Keeping his voice calm even though he felt thrown off and confused.
