Rylee sat up slowly

Nightmare then fell asleep.

Red looked at Rylee"im sorry for hurting you" he said softly

Nightmare twitched.

Rylee shook her head 'Its okay." she whispered hoarsely

Nightmare whimpered in her sleep.

"No its not!" red said, sounding distressed as he started clawing at his arms "i could have killed both of you"

Nightmare twitched violently.

Rylee held Nightmare and hummed "Really Red its okay, we aren't dead are we?" rylee whispered hoarsely

Red started crying as he shook his head quickly "n-no but i-i still hurt both of y-you badly" he whimpered, starting to studder

Nightmare slowly calmed down as she curled up in her hand.

Rylee looked at Red "Red sweetie hurt is only temporary, death is forever, we are okay."

Red dug his claws deeper in to his cracked bones "w-why are y-you s-so nice t-to me" he suddenly asked

Nightmare slept peacefully.

Rylee smiled "Because I love you."
