Noelle's brows furrowed as she thought about the question. Do I like Andy? She thought, her gaze falling to her lap. She thought of their time together and specifically his blue eyes. Noelle smiled and stood from her place. She dropped the cigarette, rubbing the flame out with her heel. ''Yeah, I guess I do,'' Noelle mumbled, the memory of his blue eyes remaining locked inside her head. ''He's quite charming and a good guy but, don't tell him I told you that,'' Noelle said with a laugh.
-
Chelsy grinned widely. My mommy doesnt like you. But Daddy seems to. Chelsy told Noelle. Are you Okay? I read a paper once about smoking. Its not very good for you. Chelsy told Noelle. She had a third question. So she figured shed use it for her curiosity.
-
''I know your mother doesn't like me but, you really think your daddy likes me?'' Noelle questioned with a laugh. ''I'm fine, I know smoking isn't good for me but, I have my reasons, sweetheart,'' Noelle said, standing up. She ruffled the girl's hair with a smile. ''How about we go inside, sounds good?'' Noelle asked, hand on her hip.
-
Chelsy smiled and nodded. It was cold out. He was blushing when I set up a date for you guys at my concert. And he was flustered when I asked who you were. And he was looking at you a lot inside. Im a ten year old so I see these things. People think I dont know anything so they feel more comfortable not watching their body language around me. But I know more than you think. I watch a lot of adult tv. Chelsy chattered as she held the door open.
-
Noelle raised an eyebrow at the knowledge little girl. Smiling, Noelle chuckled patting her shoulder. ''Alright, sweetheart,'' Noelle said, liking the nickname she placed for Chelsy. ''Maybe you should tell your dad to have you watch some cartoons but, just because body language says he likes me,'' Noelle emphasized ''doesn't mean he does,'' Noelle hummed, stepping inside. ''Though I'm still excited for your concert, I can't wait to see your performance,'' Noelle said, enjoying the warmth inside the restaurant.
-
Chelsy smiled and rolled her eyes. Cartoons are boring. She replied. She smiled when Noelle showed excitement for the concert. Okay. Chelsy replied, returning to her parents.
-
''Cartoons are not boring, they're hilarious,'' Noelle said, protesting against Chelsy's comment. Noelle watched Chelsy run off to her parents, her lips pressed into a firm line as she saw Andy with Olivia. I just don't like the idea of them...being together Noelle thought, as she returned over to her seat. Noelle spent some time on her phone, taking secret glances towards Andy as she thought about Chelsy's words. She rolled her eyes, cheeks tinted peek as she gazed down at her phone, scrolling through social media.
-
Andy tried to stay as far away from Olivia as he could while still trying to play with the kids. Olivia was trying to get closer to him. Valery eventually seemed to think they were playing ring around the Rosie or something. Andy often found himself looking at Noelle. Olivia is smart, kind, and successful. Why did the thought of being together feel so wrong... But being with someone like Noelle feel so right?
-
At times, with Noelle's secret glances she would make eye contact with Andy, her hazel eyes meeting with his blue eyes. Once this happened, she would avert her gaze to her phone, looking at pictures of her friends with their significant other. Noelle licked her lips, preparing herself to confront Andy but, soon, remembered Olivia's words. I'll have to tell Andy about Olivia's idiotic threat, at the very least in secret Noelle thought, her mind creating scenarios of how should tell Andy or at the very least see him without Olivia's knowledge.
-
Andy noticed that Noelle seemed distress. He texted her on his phone. You Okay?
-
Noelle looked down at her phone, hearing it chime. She glanced up towards Andy, soon reading the text with a smile at his worrying. I'm fine, I just don't like your ex-wife, Olivia. Noelle typed, soon sending the brief but, blunt message.
-
Andy blinked. Why? he texted back. Though he had a couple of very different assumptions as to why.
-
Noelle rolled her eyes, it was rather obvious, at the very least in her opinion. She has a tendency of trying to take things that don't belong to her Noelle texted, thinking about the time Olivia used her phone and her attempts of trying to get back together with Andy. She sent the message, crossing one leg over the other.
-
Andy blinked, taking the text literally. He never knew Olivia to be one to steal. He could see her black mailing, hacking, or maybe trespassing. But since she was rich, it didnt make sense for Olivia to steal. What do you mean?
-
Noelle glanced upwards at Andy, and then Olivia. Noelle sighed, her fingers hovering over her keyboard. She typed the message and paused, rereading the message as she continuously thought of Chelsy's words. I'm talking about with you, she's attempting to take you away from me, I'm yours and you're mine, remember? Noelle's message was rather direct and a little embarrassing. Noelle cleared her throat, sending the message as her cheeks turned red from embarrassment. She leaned against the table, attempting to hide her blush with her hand. She had settled her arm on the table, and pressed her chin against her palm.
