Neither Marquee nor Gerald were happy about receiving half a trophy and they both threw them away. Jewel said "Are we ready for a training level yet?" A voice from outside the hologram said "I would think so."

Carly, who had just finished the escape house, heard the voice. What was that? She wondered, flying to where the others were.

Jackal tilted her head.

"Take of the googles, Fox girl and you'll see." said the voice. Jewel took hers off first and saw a man with orange hair and a familiar looking face, floating in an odd vehicle.

(Eggman already? I suppose they loose this battle, since they havent really trained and this is the first battle.)
Carly was confused. I thought no one was supposed to see us. Sonia told Carly. No one is. She replied, taking off her goggles. E-E-Eggman!?! Carly yelped when she saw him. Sonia heard this and took off hers. Eggman! We meet at last! Sonia cheered. Sonia! Wait! You arent- Carly tried to warn her, but Sonia charged at Eggman. -
(Yes.)
This new Eggman threw up an electric shield over his Egg Mobile. He said "I'm not the Eggman you know." -
Sonia heard these words but it was too late to slowdown. She groaned with pain as she hit the shield and landed on the ground. Why would you take on the title of my fathers nemesis? She demanded, quickly healing and getting back up. Sonia... We... We should go. Carly whispered, tugging at Sonias arm. Carly! Youre such a coward! Sonia yelled, tossing her friend aside. This was her chance to take down the Eggman! Real or not.

Jackal looked at the electric shield and perked her ears"Electric shield..."

"Simple, I am Dr. Eugene Robotnik, the son of Dr. Ivo Robotnik." he answered. Jewel said "So you're the doctor's son." "Correct. I'm the New Eggman." he said.

Huh. Your name sucks. Sonia laughed. Sonia... Carly began, but was interrupted. Well normally I dont believe in the sins of the father being the sins of the child. But in this case. Ill make an exception. Sonia announced, adrenaline burning through her blood as she created a ball of fire to throw at Eggman.

Sonia listen! Carly yelled, standing in front of the fire. As far as we know, hes innocent. He hasnt done anything yet! Carly yelled. He robbed that bank! Sonia yelled. A hostage died at that robbery! She added. Yes. But he didnt do that robbery. Remember? It was a female who robbed it. Carly told Sonia.

Eugene said "You should probably listen to your friend, Fox Girl. I'm no better than my old man. And though I am not exactly sure how Sonic's child can use fire when neither of her parents can but it won't matter." He then pressed a button and several different robot eyes pierced the shadows.
