Jewel switched her boot to air shoe mode and started skating like Shadow.

Jackal kept running as she caught up with Sonia.

The power up ran off and Sonia tried her hardest to speed forward. She smiled and pushed forward to stay ahead of Jackal. Unfortunately, there was a tree root sticking out of the ground. So Sonia would have to slow down in order to avoid tripping. However, Sonia didnt slow down and kept running. She spun over the tree root and pushed herself back to a running position.

Jewel caught up to Sonia and said "You can't outrun me. I am the daughter of the ultimate lifeform."

You mean your father who was named because hes the shadow of mine? Sonia asked, smirking as she raced ahead. She kicked up clouds of dust as she ran past Jackal.

Jackal ran faster.

Jewel got mad at Sonia's comment and ran faster.

Youre too slow! Sonia laughed, getting cocky as she raced ahead. She was almost at the finish line. She didnt notice the second tree root. She yelped as she tripped and was slammed down onto the ground.

Jackal ran over to Sonia and helped her.

Jewel ran past them and finished the race. She smirked and said "Whose too slow now?"

Ugh... Thanks. Sonia sighed, forcing herself to stand despite the searing pain. Sorry. Got cocky. She sighed.

Jackal sighed.

Jewel said "Never underestimate me."

Sonia frowned at Jewel and winced from the pain. Why did Carly put tree roots on the fricken race track! She groaned. She sat on her knees and lit the tree root on fire. It burnt to ashes. Then respawned. Great. So apparently its supposed to be there. She groaned.
