I think there was a misunderstanding... The scientist that created you named you. And he believed the robots to be children. You would have had powers, personalities and names that would allow you to be like human children.

Also, I dont think the military includes swords. But it could be a futuristic timeline where they have light sabres.

Oh ok. I get that. Its just the government gave him everything he owns. I guess they could give him a sword. Or he could ask the scientist for one and the scientist will sneak it in.
