Toshiro hummed softly as his ice spread over the roof and he closed his eyes, laying back against the cool surface

Saba said "Alright, let's start with the basics. Can you read or write?"

Kianna sighed and pushed herself up. She entered the building and walked around. She saw a poster that was hung up for a royal ball next month. "Cool." Kianna whispered. She imagined dancing with Toshiro in a glorious ballroom as she walked down the halls. Not looking where she was going, Kianna bumped into another wizard and fell to the ground.

Ash didn't understand what he said so she took out her drawing board and pushed it towards Saba so he could draw things to help her understand what her was saying.

"Uh... Sorry." Kianna mumbled as the wizard helped her up. "Don't be. You're Kianna right? I was looking for you." He replied. "Quinto hasn't been talking to me. And he's been assigned as your teams trainer and assistant. So I was wondering if you could give him this note." The wizard explained, handing the note to her. "Uh... Ok." Kianna replied nervously. "Thanks! I owe you one!" The wizard cheered before teleporting away.

Toshiro smiled and re opened his eyes before he got up and jumped off tge roof, landing lightly on his feet

Saba deduced quickly she didn't understand. He took a marker and drew pictures of someone reading and someone writing.

Ash shook her head, she did not know how to read anything and has never read anything in her life, because weredeer don't have a written language.

"Quinto?" Kianna called. "Yes?" Quinto asked, appearing behind her. "Hi. I was told to give you this." Kianna told him, handing Quinto the note. "Thanks." Quinto replied, teleporting away. Kianna then returned to the courtyard. On her way she day dreamed about dancing with Toshiro. She blushed slightly in embarrassment after she spun into the courtyard dreamily, only to see Toshiro there.

Toshiro saw her and tilted his head in confusion, his bangs falling in his face

Saba said "I guess that means, we'll have to start at the bottom. The ABCs." He erased what he drew and wrote an uppercase A.

Kianna blushed and held in her urge to giggle as his hair fell in his face. "Uh, hi... I thought you were inside." She told him nervously.

Ash tilted her head head at the A, she's seen a symbol like it before, she assumed it was one of those symbols that written words word made of.

"Actually i was on the roof" he said with a shrug

"Oh, ok..." Kianna replied, standing there nervously. "I'm going to try out the rest of the sands... Is that okay?" She asked him, trying to contain her blushing.
