Not it.

I guess I'm starting then.

Kendra sat in her tree house waiting for Barbie to come over. She wrote a plot and detailed script for the next comic of The Peasant Poets. She impatiently tapped her pencil and looked out the window. Why was Barbie so late? Perhaps she was working on a project idea of some kind or doing her homework.

''Kendra-chan!''
Barbara vociferated to gain Kendra's attention. Her hands were clamped against the wooden handle that kept her upright and not falling from the tree's ladder. Barbara's elbows held the bags of fabrics while with her hand held the ladder. With a nervous smile, Barbara did her best to keep herself from falling. One by one the bags were in their desired placement. Her arms red, Barbara pulled herself up onto the treehouse's floor. ''I'm here,'' Barbara called as she brushed her fingers against the frills of her skirt. She adjusted her white collar, her eyes squinted in somewhat anger. She could feel the dirt cling to her as she huffed in annoyance. ''It could be worst, a spider could've gotten into my hair.'' Barbara murmured as she began combing her fingers through her pastel pink bangs.
Barbara turned to see the impatient Kendra sitting by the treehouse's entrance. ''Kendra-chan, I'm sorry,'' Barbara said her hands clasped together. ''I went to go get some fabrics since I had the cutest idea for costumes,'' Barbara began on her excuse for running late. ''Then I kept thinking of more and more and more ideas for costumes! I kinda got carried away. I'm sorry!'' Barbara said, her eyes pleading for forgiveness. ''I won't do it ever again!'' She added, her lips curved into a smile. ''Oh! I could make you an outfit to make up for me being late!'' Barbara leaned down to grab the pink fabric from one of the numerous bags. ''See! Isn't it cute?'' Barbara mused, her fingers running over the pink fabric. ''Oh, and is there a spider in my hair?'' Barbara asked, her fingers combing through her hair. -
Kendra blushed as Barbie begged for forgiveness. "Yeah! Of course you're forgiven!" She told Barbie. To hide the fact she was blushing, she studied Barbie's hair. "And yes there is a spider in your hair." She lied with a grin.
-
''Really!?'' Barbara stammered in panic. She fastened her pace, her fingers combing her hair. "Where?!" Barbara exclaimed, her fingers never touching anything. "There really isn't a spider in my hair?'' Barbara huffed her hands on her hip. ''You lied,'' Barbara said with a smile. ''I admit you got me there.'' Barbara snickered, ''I guess you don't deserve a super cute outfit then.'' She laughed.
-
"Sorry..." Kendra replied, looking down at her paper. She felt really bad for lying to Barbie... Lying was terrible and she hated to keep secrets... But if Barbie knew how Kendra felt about her... It would be the end of their friendship... "Let's just get to work then." She sighed.

''You don't have to apologize, look, I'm okay. See!'' Barbara said her lips curving into a smile. Her index fingers pointed to her smile as Barabara nodded in amusement. ''Alright!'' Barbara hummed with excitement. She grabbed the bags, her heels clicking against the wooden floor boards as she placed them upon her desk. Her desk had various fashion designs scattered about as well as the wall to being decorated in the same fashion. ''Can I see what you wrote for the characters? I want to start on making their outfits!" Barbara said, her voice lacing with her usual high pitch tone. She grabbed a scribbled page flipping it over to the blank side glancing over to Kendra.

Kendra nodded and handed the stack of Character descriptions and scripts to Barbie. She then sat in a bean bag and rested. "Barbie... Um... I've been meaning to ask you something." Kendra blurted, turning to Barbie.
