Liana sighed and rubbed her forehead. The new mission that the team got is more than a little difficult, but nothing they can't handle. She tapped a few buttons on her hologram touchscreen, and a map of Michigan, Lancing appeared. Where the other guardian lived. Somehow, they have to get the new kid to join them. She peered across the room at Rexar, who's napping, and blushed, looking down.
She's had slight feelings for him for a long time. But he's never shown any feelings towards her, which nurt her a bit, but she shrugged it off. They are here to save the world, not flirt. She focused her attention on the map once more, concentrating on the mission at hand. -

Rexar was lying on a small bed, taking a nap after the previous mission. He knew he wasn't supposed to sleep during missions, but he didn't get much sleep last night so he asked Liana if he could sleep for just a few minutes. He did like Liana but wasn't sure if she was looking for a relationship, so he stayed professional around her.

Elnora watched the others around her, keeping busy as usual. Her team seemed unusually quiet, probably just recovering after that last mission and getting ready for their newest one yet. She hoped so. She hoped the problem wasn't anything else. Normal injuries she could heal, but everything else...
Elnora arranged all her medical supplies, not that she really needed them. But it was always better to be prepared. If the new kid they were getting happened to put up a fight, and people got injured, she would be glad for normal medical supplies. People on earth were always so afraid of alien powers. -
"I finished the com link." Tiko cheered as he helped Elnora set up her supplies. Each guardian had a translator built into their com links so they could understand any language spoken to them. The com links were also useful for communicating with the team.
Some of them Tiko made as filters for their powers. Like Elnora's was made so she wouldn't read everyone in the rooms minds by accident and suffer a major headache. She could pick and choose when her powers occurred. And Liana had one that made sure she didn't use multiple visions at a time. So the coms were pretty important. Since humans were very hard specious to gain the trust of, Julia's com link was designed to look like a human hearing aid. -

(sorry ! )) Julia stayed in the corner,analying everyone warily, she seemed to not trust any of her teammates , but she did,she just didn't show it. She sighed softly and mumbled something under her breath . She slipped her notebook in her side bag as she nodded and made sure her com link was in correctly. She smiled faintly in victory when she knew it worked,adn she then pulled her hand away,and hid her smile.

Julia was at home,perusual,studying a new theory , which she would prove was wrong.She stayed quiet as she jogged downstairs and ate dinner quickly,and then raced back up the stairs. She sighed and wondered"When will anything interesting happen in my life?" aloud as she layed on her bed and continued her work -

Rexar soon woke up and asked "Are we on Earth yet? I want to meet our newest recruit and find out what humans are like." Rexar was always curious about other species, which was one of the reasons he joined the team.

"We need to be careful where we turn on the tractor beam." Tiko sighed. "The phasor broke in our last mission and I haven't gotten to fixing it yet." He explained. "If we were to use it now, we would take the roof onto our ship instead of phasing her through the roof." He laughed, imagining that. They would probably crush themselves. Not to mention killing the girl with the roof. "I get why you're impatient though. We've been here for weeks!!! That girl hasn't left the house." He added, turning to Liana.
