My current role play partners are Charlie and Anna.

In the 25 century humans discovered how to clone themselves. Unfortunately, the clone would disintegrate, explode, or melt when it touched the original. So in 2655, they made it illegal to clone a living being. In 2664, a company began to use the technology to clone the dead. This way children who died could once again continue their lives. Sometimes however, the clone goes wrong. This clone then has to live its life buried deep down in a school for mistakes. Those mistaken clones graduate school to work for the company who made them. You would find some interesting stories down there. Like the one I'm going to tell you right now.
C1 is a clone that went perfectly! They looked exactly like the late teenage princess/prince they were cloned from. But because of a problem with deliveries, their memories didn't arrive on time. This is bad because if a clone develops their own memories before getting the ones of the original, they will know that they are a clone. Which would be a large factor in whether or not they share the originals personality. Therefore, the cloned mistake was sent to the underground boarding school.
C2 was also affected by this delivery. C2 was meant to be a nurse bot who looked after the children in this school. When C2's programming chips were miss delivered, they programmed C2 with the memories of a deceased human nurse. Because of this, C2 has emotions and is an outcast from their fellow robots.
During their time at this school, C1 wonders if they are in fact a mistake, or something more. C1 has many conflict in trying to find out who they are. Eventually, C1 becomes rebellious. C2 feels sympathy for C1 and decides to look after C1 like a parent. C2 and C1 will find out together. Maybe along the way the'll help others find the answer to the question they all ask. Who are they? -
