Mavis awoke feeling happy. She'd been off school for a full week with and eye infection, and was about to come back today. She hurriedly showered, brushed her beautiful tail out, and got dressed. She was so excited to see Lily today. She tucked her tail around her leg and forced her ears into an upright position. She hated hiding from the world, but she had no choice. She grabbed some food and ran out the door to the bus stop. -
Lily was sitting on the ground at the bus stop drawing a tortoise and humming a random song, she was in a good mood, she added bookshelves in the background of the picture and made it so the tortoise was standing on a book, she then began giving all the books what she thought were funny titles, as she drew she didn't pay attention to anything around her.

Mavis noticed Lily sat on the ground, humming. She was drawing, too, one of her favourite things to do. Mavis internally screamed, and silently crept up behind her. In a flash, Mavis wrapped her arms around Lily and squealed. "LILS!!!"
