Rose nodded and blushed, she stroked her hair out of her face and smiled. She was wondering what OLiver thought of her, and she continued stealing glances at him.
-
Oliver smiled thankfully at Jason. He turned to Rose. "I'm glad I chose you to be our new model, I'm very proud. Also, Jason and you make a cute couple." He spat the last part, packed up and left for home.
-
Rose stared at Oliver in awe. She was more confused rather. "Actually, Jason, this was a really bad idea. I'll leave first." She scurried out of the office and started making her way to the elevator. Emotional, all of a sudden.
-
Hey, Ollie! Wait! We aren't-" Jason rambled, but Ollie was already gone. He frowned as Rose left and caught up to her. "Wait, Rose! We can still hang out!" He told her. "Don't ditch me just because Ollies being a jerk." Jason told her once he caught up to her.
-
Rose turned to look at Jason, her eyes were already burning red with tears, "If he didn't like me from the beginning...why didn't he just say so? Now he's only making things worst for me! Doesn't he understand what love means anymore?!" She sobbed.
-
"I don't know..." Jason replied. "That's why we had issues in high school... Cause he didn't treat girls right... Also cause we both liked you..." Jason replied awkwardly, feeling sympathy. He scratched the back of his head and frowned. "Maybe we can go somewhere to take your mind off things?" Jason asked, trying to think of a way to cheer Rose up.
-
Rose sobbed once more before wiping the tears from her eyes, "Sure." She sniffed and looked at the ground. Do you hate me that much, Ollie? She thought and drew circles with her leg, on the floor.
-
Jason smiled with sympathy and watched Ollie leave. He walked with Rose to the front office and told the secretary that they were heading for lunch. "So did you know that we worked here when you applied for the job?" Jason asked as they left the building.
-
"No." Rose shook her head, "I didn't even know Oliver was the owner of this place. It's so ridiculous." She replied.
-
"Oh? That must have been the most painful interview in history..." Jason sighed. "Uh... If you don't mind me asking... Why did you leave to Korea?" Jason asked as they entered a restaurant. It was a nice pizza restaurant. It also served subs and pasta.
-
Rose scanned the restaurant and smiled, "Because my father died while coming to England for me and Oliver's wedding. It was all my fault. I had to go back because my mom couldn't be on her own cause no one would be willing to help her. Even if she's kind hearted and helps everyone. She even got fired from her job." She said, like she was annoyed with the people who didn't want to help her mom and the person who fired her mom, "So I left with my sister. And then I came back because my mom found a new job as an accountant. " She stopped and stroked her hair because they keep getting in her face.
-
Jason blinked at this and blushed as she played with her hair. "What did Olly say when you told him that?" Jason asked. He felt like he was being the third wheel in their couple. If things kept going like this then he might actually end up bringing them back together. "Actually, never mind. We are going to catch up, chat, and eat pizza! Cause that's what old friends do." He decided as he pulled out a chair for her. He was going to be Roses second wheel. Her best friend and hopefully partner. "This is happy hour!" He cheered as he sat down.
-
Rose smiled and sat down, not as happy as she could be but she just tried smiling.
-
"What do you want to eat?" Jason asked. "I'll pay. So choose anything you like!" He added with a cheery grin.
-
"I wasn't hungry, but since there is chocolate pizza on the menu..! I'd love to try that!" Rose smiled, she actually smiled! She suddenly remembered when she went on a picnic with Oliver and they ate strawberries dipped in chocolate. She thought eating this chocolate pizza wouldn't be fun without him.
