Travis walked in , blinked and said quietly as to not wake her"Thank you for taking care of her while I was gone" (Val is gona be like"Didi I hear correctly?" lol)
He smiled -
Val was surprised and looked like a deer in headlights but hid it. "No problem."
She whimpered a little (Nature days!!!!) -
Travis glanced at Katie nad mouthed to Val"Mother Nature?"
Katie shifted in her sleep
He held her close -
He nodded
She let a tear slide sown her face in her sleep -
He wiped it with his thumb and kissed her forehead
Clarissa walked in and said"Sorry,little problem at camp" she had a bruise on her leg,and had cuts all over her,and so didi Travis.Val had never been in actual battle before,they had.
Katie awoke and mumbled"WHy god?" -

(well,s---s , scratch that part then)Clarissa walked over and said"gimme,I'll handle the changing part" and took Kati eand took her upstairs into her room

He smiled and held her -

She shifted so her ribs were against his chest and she was on her side -
Clarissa cmae back with Katie in sweat patns,and a tank top,and Handed her over to Travis,who hed her close.Katie just moaned in pain and hit her head on his chest,and Travis rocked her in his arms,humming gently,kissing her head gently eevery few minutes,she calmed down then.
He felt her ribs gently -
Val sighed
She breathed softly her hip bones were visible threw her leggings. -
