You could tell Val had been crying. He brought sole cheese up for Thalia

Thalia saw the cheese and ran over happily and hugged his leg and said"I love you daddy!Thank you!!" and sat odwn eating the cheese.
Katie turned human and walked to him and said"Love?Were you crying?" she put a hand on his cheek , concern flashing threw her sea green eyes -
Val smiled at Thalia. He looked at his feet not replying to the question

Thalia sat on the floor eating cheese,ignoring her parents as she ate/
Katie lifted his chin and said"It's alright Love,I've cried enough to flood the whole state of California " and hugged him,wrapping her arms around his neck -
He hugged her back

Thalia pulled on her parents pant legs nd said"Hello " and Katie picked Thalia up and said"Hello" and Thlai giggled at smiled goofily,she had val's hair,and his skin tone and ears,and Katie's powers and eyes

"I love you too daddy" she said giggling , nonstop.NAd she touched his curly brown hair and then touched one of her own curly locks of brown and giggled , realizing the connection

Thalia touhed her ear and then his,hers were pointed like his,and she giggled again,and then looked at her skin tone,then his,and then giggled again in realization.Katie said"Your lucky,she poked me in the eye when realizing she got her eyes from me" she said

Thalia began eating it as if she hadn't eaten in years,and Thali asked"CAn I watch you sing mommy?Wiht uncle conner and travis?When is Aunt Dixie gonna have my cousin?Why is Aunt Clarissa so good at guitar?" and Katie said"Yes,I don't know , and she just picked it up" she said walking out the door,expecting Val to follow
