Monty's eyes hardened again as he found that Mocha's warmth had left his side. As he neared the end of the fence, he looked around, and spotted her glistening eyes in the long, wild grass. As his paws made contact with this new, untamed world for the first time, he was surprised by the softness of the slim, green blades. He waited for Mocha to signal to continue.
Brian's fur lay flat on his shoulders as Mocha rushed ahead of Monty and leaped off the fence. Then he felt guilty. Perhaps he had been too possessive and too quick? He didn't want to upset Mocha or put her under pressure. Now worried and sad, he looked at his paws, ignoring the comforting grass attempting to soothe him. Not waiting for Mocha or Monty, he focused on the destiny he had laid out for himself as he half-dizzily stumbled forward. -
Mocha happily flicked her tail and got up trotting into the fields. She turned around and looked at both the tomcats. "Are y'all ready for this adventure?" She asked quite excited. Her coat was glossy in the moon from cleaning it and her eyes glassy.

Mocha turned and sprinted past them ready to get there and stopped at Brian's side. "Brian?" She asked sweetly. Her tail flicking.
