A long time ago there was humans, animals, and magical creatures, they didn't exactly live in harmony, but whatever. One day someone cursed almost half the magical creatures to become humans. All the magical creatures that were turned into humans still identified as whatever magical creature they were, and the ended up discovering that they all still had some of their powers and that they could transform themselves to look like a hybrid between a human and whatever magical creature they are, for example a unicorn could sprout a horn, horse ears, and a horse tail or something like that, and a dragon could sprout dragon wings and a dragon tail or something like that. And it turns out that their children have the same powers. Now, this soap is in modern times, our characters are some of these human magical creatures, which most people call hybrids, mutants, or simply creatures, I'll be calling them hybrids for simplicity. Hybrids are discriminated against and are thought to be lesser than humans, though in most countries they have equal rights, but people still treat them badly. Now, our characters are just going about their normal days when they're knocked out(or they just go to sleep, but that's less fun in my opinion.) They wake up on the floor in a huge room in a castle with a ton of other hybrids as well, all each of them have is whatever they were wearing when they were knocked out or went to sleep. The people who own the castle tell them and all the other hybrids that this castle is hidden from humans and that they are completely safe here, they also tell them that they are going to put them into groups with other hybrids with whom they will train, but before they can be put into groups they must know each of their's powers and personality, obviously our characters are put in a group together, meaning they will have to do everything together like train, eat, they even have a room together. They aren't told what exactly they're training for but most of the hybrids don't really care, because if they get safety, free housing, and free food out of it, why should they complain. But our characters our curious and decide to investigate, which won't be easy, because the people who are training them, and might I add, kidnapped them, are great at keeping secrets.
Modern
There is the same countries and mostly the same history as there is in our world.
Starts when their doing whatever and then they get knocked out or they go to sleep.
No one can have the same species as anyone else.
My character is a dragon-cat.
All hybrids who are more animal than human, like, unicorns, dragons, griffins, etc, have the power to talk to animals.

Bio:Her parents were murdered when she was young and she lived with her uncle until she was fourteen, that was when she ran away. She stole money from people and actually got enough to buy a house, she managed to fake her age to buy the house and then she began stealing whatever she wanted from people, mostly random shiny things and money, sometimes she even killed people just to take their shiny stuff and maybe money. -
