(Okay. I'll add something. But that "it" wasn't meant to be there.)
He looked around and suddenly remembered. He took the glasses off and walked to the counter and saw a card. -
Amelia had left a card on the table,it had her name and number on it .

He just stared and windered if it was Nicole's number.

(Timeskip to the next day?)
On the back of the card it said ' Dear Thomas,if you want to call Nicole here number is ___-___-___ ' (I'm too lazy to make up a number) -
(K)
The next day, Thomas was too lazy to get up even if he was wide awake. -
Amelia yelped as Nicole jumped on her and Nicole started rambling

The card was still in his hands and he didn't know.

(How about he is driving by Amelia's work and sees her and watches, and she is teling some guy she isn't interested in him when he asks her out and s--- goes down?)
Amelia got NIcole off her and started making pancakes -
Okay.
Thomas got in his car and drove then saw Amelia taking to a guy she was totally interested in. He smiled and pulled out a gun aiming at her head. Then shot her and drove off. Just kidding.
Thomas got a call from the office. He freshened up and put the card in his pocket. And headed out..
