Nicole tilted her head at the man"I'm NIcole " she said , not really afraid, if the man tried to hurt her, she could shock him.

"Who cares about your name? Now go away." Thomas told her, and that's when it hit him. She's Nicole, his daughter. He felt like hugging her but he just kept acting like he didn't care.

Nicole said sternly "No,not until you tell me who you are" she said a spark of eletrcity going off her finger, she had a feeling she knew this man.

"YOu don't look like a John,you look like my dad!" she said and fiddled with something in her pocket before pulling a out a small picture of hi and showing it to him"THis is him!" she said showing the small snapshot to him , excitedly(Now I have to take a shower)

She frowned and said"Dang it!I thought I found him"
And put the picture back in her pocket.
Amelia came out of the bathroom and said"Nicole!I said to stay by thr"-"she cut herself off she she saw Thomas -
Thomas stared at her.

Amelia said"Nicole , what did you say to him?" And looked at Nicole.
Nicole raised her arms on surrender"I just told him he looked a lot like dad "
Amelia bit her lip "Your dad is busy honey this man doesn't want to hear our sob story" she aid and took Nicole's hand -

Thomas just stared at the menu

Amelia led Nicole to a table over a few feet and tried to change the subject"What do you want for your 12th birthday?" She asked Nicole and Nicole said"To find Dad" Amelia pinched the bridge of her nose

Thomas ordered a soda, just that.

Nicole ordered spaghetti and Amelia ordered grilled shrimp and NIcole kept bringing up the question"Where is dad?" or "When will Dad come back?" and Amelia kept saying"I don't know" or "I'm not sure"
