Jack's eyes lit up upon hearing that name. He hugged her out of glee and said "I missed you."

Amelia was surprised by the hug but hugged him back"I missed you too" she said softly

Jack released her and said "Ever since you left the school hasn't been the same. I'm now a straight B student."

"I knew you could do it" she said smiling softly at him and wiped dirt from her face

Jack said "Thanks. So how have you been?"

"Unsuccesful runaway and homeless" she said gesturing to her rippes jeans, and too big t-shirt

Jack said "Why don't you come back to school? I promise I'll protect you."

She sighed"I'll go back,but only because you asked.Now I've got to get out of the clothes so -" she cut herself off by giving him a kiss on the cheek"See you tommmow!" and she raced to her house

Jack was surprised by the kiss again and smiled. HE was now looking forward to school tomorrow."

Amelia nervously walked in shifting the grey backpack on her back nervously, and then she saw a football player -
Jack saw Amelia and got to her quick before the player could.

Amelia looked at him"Thanks-How do I look?" she was wearing a light and dark purple striped long sleeve shirt , blue jeans and black tennis shoes
