2-3 people.
-
Ahem, more specifically, modern day pirates. Meaning we have guns like Glocks, desert eagles, magnum revolvers, ect.
-
_Sarjah_ NewbieDo you have a plot?
-
I do, but I first would like to know who'd be interested in an idea like this before I potentially end up wasting my time typing up a plot that no one would care about.
-
_Sarjah_ NewbieOkay well I'd be intrested
-
Alright, that's one person. We need at least one more to be a decent crew of pirates.
-
pops head in*

Ah sweet that's 3 people total, including me.
-

It's the year 2020, and naval battles are practically a normality in today's society. Ever since the discovery of producing endless wood via an ancient seed discovered in the Daintree rain forest, boats and other wooden goods have been easily mass produced. Due to wood being craved for ships, wood carving has also become a much more profitable service as well as ship crafting. But, during the same time the ancient seed was discovered, navy power skyrocketed and became the main power force of most of the world. The US navy was the king of the seas at the time, and like usual, the power went to their heads. They began seizing other countries, causing another world war. But suddenly, a woman by the name of Joanne R. Scarlet started up the first modern day pirate crew, ambushing the US fleet during an attack on one of England's shores. Their victory didn't go unnoticed by the US, and especially not by the public eye. Many people who tired of the oppression from the US brought up arms and formed their very own pirate crews, thus bringing a start to the era of modern day pirates.
Our story begins as a somewhat experienced crew planning to make our mark on the seas by taking down the Kraken, a large US navy ship who's size is comparable to the Titanic and has cash o'plenty from taxes collected from various country leaders. We have assembled a large crew ready to bring down the vassal, and theres no better time than now to take em' down.

I'm assuming this plot is sufficient. Y'all are competent enough to make characters without a sheet, yeah? -

Name: Salem Buckbree
Pirate name: 'Silver' Salem Swordbuckler
Place of origin: New York, Brooklyn.
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Sexuality: Straight
Accent: None
Hair: Salem has dark red hair, combed back as far is can while the hair that hangs in front of his ears are twisted into multiple dreadlocks with silver beads along the ends of them.
Piercings: Salem fashions his face with a silver nose piercing on his right nostril, a silver tongue piercing, and a silver skull ear ring on each earlobe.
Other facial features: Other than his flawless jaw line, Salem wears dark sunglasses and has a scar running up his left eye.
Body: Salem is slim but muscular, his chest hair shaved to look like a skull and crossbones. He thinks it's cool, but everyone else thinks it looks silly. His skin is a nice white, only so slightly tanned.
Clothing: Salem has a red and white pirates coat (white with red lining), but he doesn't wear it like an actual coat. Instead, he wraps the sleeves around his waist like kids do with their jackets when it's hot but they don't want to leave their jacket laying around. He has various silver rings, one on each finger excluding his thumbs. He claims that each one has a story to tell, but that's bulls---. He just has them because he thinks they look cool as hell. That, and rings give an edge in fisticuffs while still being more comfortable that iron knuckles. As for his trousers, he wears black baggy pants, his large black combat boots tightening them up right below the kneecaps.
Weapons: The name 'swordbuckler' isn't just for cool points (for once). Salem fashions four falchions, two on each side of his body and each sword having a leather sheathe that is fastened on a leather belt above his pirate coat dress thing. In the front of this belt, he has .44X lined up on each side, the two silver Magnum Shotrevolvers safely stored in two black leather gun holsters on the back of this belt. This Magnum Shotrevolver is a weapon designed in the year 2018, using up to 16 .44X bullets (each bullet contains two shots. The Shotrevolver itself only holds 8 shells.) to shoot like a shotgun with minimized range. Luckily, this being the future, recoil is surprisingly low. Yay for technology!
History: Salem grew up as a part time gangster, part time pawn shop owner. He inherited both the business and the gangster life from his mother, Catherine Buckbree. His father was murdered by his mother at a young age when she found out he was going to rat them out to the cops. She supposedly stuck a bomb inside the bottom of his cooler when he went out fishing in San Diego, but that's just what his mom told him. The cops were unable to track her down, luckily. But as time went by, she grew old and was eventually killed in a gang fight over some drugs and imported goods. Salem didn't really know much of the details, but since he was technically the 'heir to the throne', he took over as gang leader at a young age. The pawn shop eventually became a way of making side cash and stocking up on antiques, like the aforementioned Falchions. When the Pirate VS Navy war started, Salem and his underlings agreed that this would be a great way to gain a fortune, pillaging USA military bases and sinking ships for pay, not to mention adding more people to his gang via pirate crew recruitment. But in order to hang with the best, you need to make your mark and stand out from the crowd. Thus, he signed himself and the whole gang up for the 'Sinking of the Kraken' mission put up in Port Cutlass, a high standing self-established city for pirates only in California by the legendary pirate herself, Joanne R. Scarlet. And so here they are, about to stand down the beast of the seas, The Kraken.
Hobbies: DRINKING, SEX, AND LOOTING. Oh, and sword play. Can't forget swordplay.
Dislikes: Military rule, fat chicks, and back stabbers.
Likes: Swords, wenches, and a nice bottle of ale.
I think this is good. -

There, a less cluttered version.
