Chaos finally connected the dots and sighed. He said "I'm not gonna lie, I'm disappointed in you. But from the goodness in my heart I will forgive you. But for calling my enemy, I'm docking your pay by a small amount and you'll be on dragon duty for a week."
-
"Yes sir." Darcy replied. On the bright side, her mistakes knocked her out of the dream world where she once lived. She finally viewed her master as she was supposed to. Her master was her boss. Simple as that. Perhaps, if she truely loved him, it would be better to love him like a father. No... That might be worse. It was best to stick to reality.
"Are you okay?" Sandra asked when Chaos came out. -
Chaos said "A little disappointed but that's not important right now. Right now we need to prepare for Lance's assault."
-
"Okay." Sandra replied, taking Carlton to the Knights room.
-
The knights in the knight room weren't knights in the traditional sense. Some were orcs, some were trolls and others were ogres.
-
They were still knights in Sandra's eyes. Sandra waited to see how Carlton would prepare them as she served some crumpets she made.
-
Chaos said "Alright men, I'm not exactly sure how many forces Lance is going to show up with especially since we captured some of them. But I still have a plan of attack."
-
"I know exactly how many. Or at least the maximum amount. There are fifty nights in our royal gaurd. So you took out twenty because of my mistake... Which I no longer regret." Sandra told Carlton. "So the maximum amount would be thirty knights. Forty if they involve the newest recruits." Sandra told them.
-
Chaos said "Thank you. Now that we know we can adapt accordingly." He started to explain his plan in great detail.
-
Sandra walked to her room and looked out her window. She climbed into the window and stood there. It was peaceful to feel she was flying.
-
Chaos started getting his men ready for combat. They were outfitted with armor and the like, ready to defend the castle.
-
Sandra locked the window and the door in case Lance got that Far. She looked out the window as Lance entered the kingdom. She didn't want to watch the war. So she closed the blinds.
-
Chaos' forces stood their ground as Lance's army approached.
-
(By blinds I meant curtains. They didn't have blinds back then. LOL!)
Sandra decided to distract herself. She unlocked the door and left her room. After all, Lance wasn't likely to get in the castle. As long as she stayed away from the front doors then she should be fine. She walked to the library and pulled out a book on dragons. -
(They didn't have guns with bullets either. I thought we were making our own fantasy world.)
Lance's army stopped 10 feet away from Chaos'. Lance shouted "This is your last chance. Surrender or die." Chaos said "No." Lance then signaled his army and everyone on both sides charged.
