"Excellent." The king replied.
Darcy smiled as he hugged her but then gently pushed him away. She ran to the wall and gently smacked her head against it. Then she sat back down and stared at the floor, twiddling her thumbs. "What's wrong?" Sandra asked. "I did a horrible thing." Darcy whimpered, putting her hands over her head. -
Lance walked away to face Chaos alone.
Chaos asked "What did you do?" -
"I... I... I..." Darcy tried to answer, looking at Chaos in pure terror. She didn't want to tell him. She began crying again. But this time it wasn't all those emotions mixed. It was pure sadness. She had been a bad gremlin from the beginning... and she was terrified to reveal the truth.

Chaos hugged her again and said "Calm down and just talk."

"I'm sorry!!! I'm sorry! I'm sorry..." Darcy whimpered. "About what?" Sandra asked. "Do you want the short story or long story?" Darcy replied.

Chaossaid "Just pick one."

"You have a defective gremlin." Darcy told Chaos, bursting into tears.

Chaos was confused at the statement and asked "How can you be defective?"

"When I was little, I would always lie to get through my lessons. Then I was assigned a master. And... I... I fell in love with my master... And I didn't understand why it was forbidden to be in love with my master... Until he fell in love..." Darcy cried. "My master fell in love... And I had to help with the relationship. It was then I realized how pathetic it was to fall in love with my master... But then I tried to sabotage his love... And... That failed..." Darcy told Chaos. She tried not to let Chaos know she was talking about him.

Chaos didn't connect the dots and said "That sounds like it happened a while ago, why are you sad now?"

Darcy looked at the ground. Not wanting to admit to her mistake. "Because I saw that my master got together with his true love." She whispered. "So I did a horrible, terrible, really bad, no good thing. In a fit of anger, jealousy, and desperation... I called his enemy and revealed my master's location." Darcy told Chaos.

Chaos said "And you accidentally caused his demise. Hey, don't worry it had to have been a while ago. I would just move on."

"Okay..." Darcy replied. She was happy that she was able to brush off almost revealing her secret... But there was this wave of regret that washed over her. Sandra was out the door and he was about to leave. "But You're the master." She blurted to Chaos when his hand was on the doorknob.

Chaos stopped and said "What?"

Darcy felt ashamed with herself and sat on the floor. "I... I'm sorry... Now I know why it's a horrible thing... For a Gremlin to love her master... I betrayed you... I'm sorry..." Darcy apologized, looking at the ground.
