Max rubbed her head a little

She sat down and yapped happily

"we should probably get out of here before they get to far away from where we know" Luke said

Meridath nodded and jumped out the door

Luke opened the door enough for him to close as he's jumping out

Meridath yapped at MAx

Max got up ready to jump out

Merdiath butted her head on Luke's leg and sat at his feet

Max jumped out and rolled but was fine. "You go" Luke told Meridith

She cocked her head and barked in protest

"go I'll join you soon" he said urging her to go "besides I've got to push the door closed"

She growled and licked his hand and nuzzled it before walking away slowly crouched to the ground

"I'm not going till you go" he said as the truck came to a stop at a stop sign

She growled and darted off and yapped at MAx"Come on!!"
